Kelvin heckled him some more. "Come on now. Don't be shy to say it. Who is your daddy?"
The Baron finally couldn't take it anymore. He turned away from him and looked at something else. He was taking passive aggression to the limit.
Kelvin laughed at his antics. It was the sound of a victor enjoying their victory. It cut deep in the marrow of his bitter enemies.
Finally, the moderator interfered. The golden man saved them from bearing more of the mockery that Kelvin had in store for them.
Kelvin was given his title. No one was surprised by that outcome. Then there was a short interview for all the participants. The moderator used the interview to ask them about their experience and opinion of the game.
The players also used it to reach out to their fans and pass across any messages they wanted to the world. They all had a lot to say. Unfortunately, the interview was a few seconds each.
Paul apologized to his fans for his poor performance. He remained optimistic that he would grow from this failure and that the experience would help him perform better in the future.
Sasha and many others used the opportunity to renew their promise to bring down Augustus. They also entreated others to join them in their mission to bring down the evil and cunning Augustus.
Kelvin didn't mind the public outcry against his actions. He shrugged and said to himself, "This will only make me more popular."
When he was given his title and given the opportunity to speak, he said, "I am Augustus Many Faces. I am you, but better. I can be anyone, but I choose to be your fear. Wherever you turn, I'll be there."
Theseus asked him, "How did you neutralize the Burden of Respect?"
He smiled and said, "Trade secrets."
"Of course. I am disappointed that you won't tell me as well as your many enemies that would like to know. But I for one think you performed well today. I wish you good luck. If you ever come to Earth-2, you can reach out to him."
Wrath snorted at the development. On one hand, she is glad that Kelvin is growing stronger. That is a good thing because it means he is getting closer to becoming the god king.
On the other hand, his success proves that he doesn't need her. That is not something she wants. But she doesn't have much choice. She can only snort and be bitter about the whole thing.
Then she had to follow him out of the arena after he decided to leave the award ceremony. The two of them appeared in the white space of the tower of destiny.
At this point, her perception was severed. She couldn't see what he was doing anymore. She was the only one in the white world waiting for him to be done so that she could return to the real world.
She was bored while Kelvin was excited. He was excited because he had a lot to be excited about. He was smiling as the evaluation of his recent performance and his reward were presented to him.

"Wow!" he exclaimed in excitement.
"Would you look at that? I knew the advancement would bring in the goodies. This is even far more than all I earned in the previous 7 games combined."
He knew this amount was exaggerated and not something he could count on every time. In fact, he knew that it would be more difficult for him to earn game points in the future in the professional league because of the fewer number of competitors he would encounter in future games.
There are almost a billion people in the amateur league, but less than ten million of them are in the professional league. He doesn't even think those in the professional league are up to a million. This means he will meet less and less people in games from here on out.
Sometimes, his competitor might just be one person. So it is not the increasing difficulty that will prevent him from gaining game points. It is the lack of people to kill.
But that's a worry for the future. For now, he has to enjoy these points and use them well so that he will be able to earn as many game points as he can possibly earn in the future.
That's what is on his mind right now. He is thinking of how best to use these game points in order to gain more of them in the future. It is a prospect that his increase in power rating will surely help with.
