"Oh my god! You look soooooo hott!" Ava gushed, her voice full of excitement.
Lilith nodded at her reflection in the mirror, giving herself one last glance. Seeing how the dress fit her, she couldn’t help but feel a little satisfaction—After all, who didn’t like it when they looked good? She straightened up and gave a small smile.
Ava, who had been eagerly waiting for Lilith to finish admiring herself, jumped in with excitement. "I’ll do your makeup!" she said, but then her face fell into a slight pout. "But... I can’t really do it here. You’re taller than me, and we don’t have the space."
Lilith laughed softly at Ava."Alright, let’s go then."
Ava sighed in mock frustration, but her smile was still wide as she followed Lilith out.
Ava finished applying the makeup on Lilith, giving her a bold and glamorous look. She carefully traced a long liner along Lilith’s eyes, making them pop with the added mascara. To complete the look, she applied a deep blood-red lipstick that complemented the dress perfectly. When she finished, she stepped back, admiring her work.
As Lilith looked at her reflection in phone, she noticed Nova staring at both of them, his gaze intense, almost as if he were deep in thought.
Ava, unable to resist, grinned and playfully asked, "What are you thinking?"
Nova snapped out of his thoughts, looking a little flustered but trying to act cool. "I’m feeling worried," he said with a sigh, wiping his imaginary sweat. "You both look so pretty, I’m going to have to be extra hyperactive to protect you from all the evil eyes out there."
Ava laughed, rolling her eyes. "You’re overthinking it, Nova. We’re just going to have fun."
Lilith, who had been quiet during the exchange, smirked and said, "Well, I’m sure you’ll do a great job, Nova."
Her eyes darkened for a moment, a subtle change in her gaze, but she quickly hid it behind a teasing smile. Don’t worry, even if something happened, she would protect Ava and Nova. After all, they were her people now.
Nova puffed out his chest in mock seriousness. "Of course I will. No one’s getting past me."
The three of them shared a laugh, the mood light, as they got ready to head out for a night of fun.

When they got to the bar, they moved through the busy crowd toward the VIP room that everyone had reserved. The place was lively, with laughter, music, and conversation all around. As they walked through the crowd, a few people noticed them, especially Lilith, who walked confidently and looked stunning.
Ava and Nova were chatting excitedly, but Lilith stayed calm, her eyes scanning the room as they moved. When they finally reached the VIP area, it felt more relaxed, with cozy seating and soft intimate lighting.
The VIP room was alive with energy. Two women were singing loudly on stage, their voices filling the air, while others were laughing and dancing. The atmosphere was lively, with the beats of the music pulsing through the room, making it impossible not to get caught up in the fun.
Ava, full of excitement, grabbed Lilith and Nova’s hands, pulling them toward the empty seats around the place. She was practically bouncing with joy as she did a little dance move, raising their hands in the air.
Nova whistled, impressed by Ava’s energetic moves. "Damn, look at you go!" he called out with a grin, clearly enjoying the lively mood.
Lilith, though not the dancing type, couldn’t help but smile at Ava’s enthusiasm. It was contagious.
Lilith felt something change inside her as she looked around the lively room. She was becoming more comfortable letting go of her usual guarded self. To her surprise, she didn’t mind it. She was starting to like the change.
Ava’s voice pulled her out of her thoughts. "Are you drinking?" she asked teasingly.
"Of course I am! I can handle my drinks," Nova answered confidently, grabbing a drink from the counter.
Ava giggled and looked at Lilith. "Me too... Are you not drinking?"
Lilith looked at them both, her eyes shining with amusement. She hadn’t planned on drinking, but tonight felt different. She was with friends, and for once, she didn’t have to be so serious.
"I might just join you guys tonight," she said with a smile. The night was young, and maybe this was exactly what she needed.
Lilith couldn’t help but laugh at the scene unfolding in front of her. Some people claimed they had high alcohol tolerance, but watching Nova and Ava struggle to speak made it hard to believe.
Ava, a bit tipsy, giggled and pointed at Nova. "Ava, you’re looking so... pretty..."
"And you look like two two..." she slurred, her eyes wide as she tried to stay balanced in her seat.
Nova blinked, his eyes widening in shock. "Wait... what? I have a twin like this?!" He looked around frantically, as though expecting a long-lost sibling to pop out from behind the couch.
Lilith let out a long sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose as she watched the chaos in front of her. Ava and Nova, who had earlier bragged about their amazing alcohol tolerance, were now acting like overexcited kids.
After several failed attempts to calm them down, Lilith resorted to her last weapon: her sharp, piercing glare. It was the same look that once silenced entire rooms in her past life.
The result was immediate.
Ava and Nova froze mid-laugh, their drunken confidence wiped away in an instant. Slowly, they scooted closer to each other, clutching onto one another like frightened kittens. Ava even let out a dramatic whimper.
"Mommm... help me!" Ava squeaked, sneaking a terrified glance at Lilith from the corner of her eye.
Lilith blinked, caught completely off guard. Her glare faltered, and she tilted her head slightly, confused.
