The sleeve of his suit was pushed up a bit, and he pressed her hand against his wrist, where there was a hideous scar.

Amid their struggle, a polite man’s voice came from behind.

Gu Qimiao seemed enchanted, blankly walking towards him.
Lu Jinxie couldn’t bear her rejection towards him but voluntarily walking towards another man. He reached to grab her wrist, but Shen Yanchen was quicker, pulling her into his arms. Lu Jinxie grabbed at empty air, and his heart felt equally empty.
