The Grand Priest watched her with clear interest, but did not comment.
The other gods were all a little shaken after hearing the story about Zamasu.
"I didn't expect someone that despicable going straight for the Supreme Kai whose life is linked to the God of Destruction!"
"Even so, I still don't buy that Zamasu was strong enough to threaten Champa and force an angel to step in."
"Of course not. Mortals can't even imagine the level a God of Destruction operates on."
"And as Universe 6's God of Destruction, Champa running off to Universe 7 on his own is extremely suspicious."
"Exactly. That alone is enough to explain why his angel ended up close to disappearing."
"The two of them clearly abused their authority. Then when it all blew up in their faces, they shoved everything onto Zamasu."
"For all we know, Champa might have been the one secretly pulling the strings behind the Zamasu incident…"
Listening to them fling mud at Champa and Vados, Levos was speechless.
Just how hated was Beerus, exactly? Their grudge ran so deep that they were hitting Champa purely by association.
Champa's face went green, then purple with rage.
"You bastards! It's one thing to underestimate Zamasu, but to slander me on top of that?!"
Levos rubbed his chin.
"Whatever you say, Lord Champa and Lady Vados made a huge contribution in eliminating Zamasu, that tumor."
"Compared to those timelines that Zamasu polluted, the twelve universes in this timeline are already in much better shape."
Champa instantly lit up.
"Levos, you're absolutely right!"
Zeno stood with his hands clasped behind his back, expression calm.
"A world like that sounds really awful."
The Grand Priest chuckled softly. "Indeed, Omni-King."
"The existence of those worlds has already lost all meaning," Zeno said, his face completely blank.
"I'm sure the Zeno of that timeline will do a thorough cleanup."
"Mm."
The back-and-forth between those two sent a chill down Levos's spine.
No wonder the number of parallel timelines in the Dragon Ball world was limited, and no wonder neither the Grand Priest nor Zeno seemed overly concerned about Zamasu.
The moment anything "off" appeared, the Zeno of that branch timeline probably just erased everything on the spot wiping that entire branch from existence…
Brutal.
Even so, Levos couldn't help being curious about what state the Dark Demon Realm was in within those erased timelines…
He pulled his thoughts back.
"So, Omni-King, Grand Priest please give Universe 6 a chance," Levos said.
Champa was moved. "Levos, you're too loyal. I owe you one."
The other gods all looked at him with open disdain.
"Champa has sunk so low he's cozying up to mortals now. He's really dragging the dignity of the gods through the mud."
Vados, on the contrary, looked mildly surprised.
"I didn't expect Lord Champa to actually know how to repay a favor…"
The Grand Priest remained silent, smiling faintly as he waited for Zeno's decision.
Zeno tilted his head, thought for a moment, then suddenly frowned.
"Grand Priest, have the mortal development levels of the twelve universes changed at all?"
The Grand Priest bowed slightly.
"Universes 1 and 12 are still far in the lead. Universes 5 and 8 also maintain a mortal level above 7."
"As for the others, there hasn't been any meaningful improvement. In fact, one could say their overall levels have stagnated or even declined somewhat…"
"At present, the universes ranked fifth through tenth are: Universe 11, Universe 2, Universe 3, Universe 10, Universe 4… and Universe 6."
