Tyler was serious at this moment.
Alex had pushed his strength above the boundaries of the Foundation Realm. Unfortunately, Tyler couldn't do the same.

Tyler activated his Demon God Bloodline and released the red demon energy throughout his body.
Upon releasing this energy, he felt a surge of adrenaline rush through his blood.
And, it wasn't just the feeling. His muscles, bones, and even his Spiritual Energy had reached a new level.
Sensing this surge in his energy, Alex dashed forward and stabbed with his spear.
The stab conjured a massive head of a fire demon that reeked of blood. It opened its mouth and roared towards Tyler.
Though seeing this, Tyler didn't panic. Instead, he clenched his sword hard and released a deep breath.
A destructive red Sword Aura unsheathed from his hand and coated his body.
At the same time, he released a massive amount of spiritual energy into the sky, and several black clouds emerged above him.
When Tyler activated this ability, two large lightning bolts struck down from those clouds.
Because they were influenced by his spiritual energy. Just two lightning bolts struck down.
Even so, one struck the tail of the dragon while the other struck the forehead of the dragon.
Two lightning bolts didn't manage to bring it down, but they managed to destroy the parts where they struck it.
It was more than enough for him.
Tyler dashed toward, and thousands of tiny swords appeared above him. With a simple swing of his sword, he sent all of those tiny swords toward the dragon.
Ka-cha! Ka-cha! Ka-cha!
Those swords got either burned away by the high temperature, or they just pierced the dragon but didn't cause much damage.
"No, damn it! Move! Roar, Blood Dragon"
Alex realized that Tyler's main move wasn't to destroy it with lightning or those swords, instead to stall as much time as possible.
He didn't understand why he was doing it, but when he saw Sword Aura coating his sword, he realized something.
Either Tyler was underestimating him and not using Sword Intent, or he simply couldn't use it anymore.
He chose to believe the latter option and poured even more of his spiritual energy into the Dragon.
At this stage, he didn't even notice that his body was being burned by his energy.
If he hadn't done this, he would've survived for a few more minutes, but now, he simply had thirty seconds to live.
Tyler instantly closed the gap in a few seconds and raised his sword. Coating it with Chaotic Force, he slashed down.
The dragon started moving towards him and opened its mouth. The bloody mouth was trying to devour him whole.
Just from a distance, Tyler felt like sweating. His throat became dry, and his body started turning red.
But Tyler didn't stop.
When the dragon came, he slashed his sword down. It was a simple swing.
But when it came down, Alex's eyes widened.
A sharp and refined sword energy burst out of his sword, cutting the dragon in half.
Thud! Thud! Chi-chi-chi!
Two halves of the dragon fell on the ground and started burning the ground.
Even after destroying it, these two parts still had too much heat.
On the other hand, Alex dropped his spear.
During this moment, he realized that he was overthinking things.
Tyler was indeed trying to slow down the dragon because he was afraid that it would gain more heat.
That's why he used the lightning to paralyze it and then used sword Qi to slow it down.
He did this simply because he was only at the Fifth Stage of the Energy Refinement Realm.
His body was strong, but his spiritual energy was not.
Most of his other attacks would simply melt off the moment they get near the dragon.
And the only attack that would work needed him to get closer. So, he did everything to slow it down.
Unfortunately, Alex thought he was doing it because he couldn't use Sword Intent.
He wasn't wrong, but that wasn't the only reason.

His skin had completely burned off, and even his muscles were barely there. His bones were at a temperature that was setting the ground on fire.
Tyler deactivated the Red Demon Energy. It had been less than a minute, so the influence wasn't much.
Even so, there was a hint of madness in his eyes.
But when he released this power, a look of fear appeared in his eyes.
'No, I can't use this ability anymore. I need to change it. There must be a way to change it, or I will completely abandon it.'

He walked toward the corpse of Alex.
A green spark appeared on his hand. That slowly spread out into a massive fire that engulfed Alex's body.
In less than three seconds, his body had completely burned to ash.
He went to destroy the bodies of others as well.
Finally, his eyes fell on Sarin.
At this moment, Sarin was trying to crawl away.
Unfortunately, the entire battle between Tyler and Ditto Family's young master lasted for less than five minutes.
