She hesitated for a moment, "With your looks, your background, and that body, it should be pretty easy for you to find a girlfriend, right? No need to rekindle things with me."
He chuckled and bent down, leaning closer to her, "It is quite easy for me to find a girlfriend, but that doesn’t mean what you did back then, kicking me to the curb, can just be forgotten like that."
She stared blankly at his face, so close to hers, and all of a sudden, her heartbeat couldn’t help but quicken.
Oh God, beauty really is a trap. Like her, they had broken up three years ago, yet she was still under the influence of his looks. "Then, could it be that you want to take revenge on me?"
He smirked, "What if I do?"
"Huh?" She widened her eyes.
"Alice Conley, if I really planned to take revenge on you, what would you do?" he asked leisurely.
She licked her dry lips and after a while, said, "Then why don’t you first tell me how you plan to take revenge, so I can cooperate a bit."
"..." He suddenly felt a sense of helplessness. Cooperate? This woman really had the nerve to say that, "Alice Conley, you truly are heartless, huh? Do you really think, I’d be considerate of old feelings? That I wouldn’t be able to go through with it?"
She quickly shook her head.
"Then tell me, what did our past relationship mean to you?" he asked, staring at her.

During breakfast, Kyle Kinston said to Mabel Quinn, "Are you free tonight?"
"Yes." She nodded. Lately, even though the crew is busy because they need to find a new second actress and reshoot her scenes, she’s actually quite free.
"Then accompany me to a banquet tonight." He said.
"Banquet?" She was startled, "What kind of banquet? Do I need to wear a gown? I don’t have much experience with this..."
"Don’t worry, I’ll prepare the clothing and makeup, and I’ll send the driver to pick you up after work. If you don’t like the banquet, we can just show up and leave early." Kyle Kinston said. He wanted to take her to the banquet merely to present her in front of everyone, just to let the circle know that she was his woman.

Since she liked him and loved him, she needed to try and adapt to his world. Those banquets were also a necessary social activity for him, and she wanted to understand his life more.
In the afternoon, when she got off work, the driver was indeed waiting outside in the car.
