One night, Mabel Quinn was almost exhausted. When she woke up, it was already well into the morning, and Kyle Kinston was no longer at the residence. She only vaguely remembered that in the early morning, he seemed to have whispered something to her.
When Mabel dragged her nearly falling-apart body to the Corporation office and went to the editor-in-chief to ask for leave, she found out from the editor that Kyle Kinston had already taken leave for her.
"Your boyfriend is not bad. Although he’s so rich and powerful, he’s quite considerate of you," the editor laughed, seemingly optimistic about Mabel Quinn’s relationship. "You should cherish him, a man like him with such a heart is hard to come by."

However, Lilith’s next words completely broke her composure.
"Even in the heat of passion, you have to remember to protect yourself. If you’re not planning to get pregnant, don’t forget to take birth control pills. But if you and Mr. Kinston have discussed children, then just ignore what I said," Lilith said.
Mabel was stunned, pregnant?!
Initially, she did buy and take birth control pills, but later, as her feelings for Kyle deepened, she didn’t take them as much.
However, for the past two months, her periods were quite regular, almost making her forget about the possibility of pregnancy.
But Mabel knew that Lilith meant well with her words, so she blushed slightly and said, "Mm, I understand, thank you."
In the afternoon, there was a meeting about the "Sound of the Wind" film crew. Some important personnel from the crew attended the meeting, and Mabel followed the editor to attend as well. The content was essentially about instructing on matters regarding the film nearing completion.

"Is he... the same person as the little brother Isaac Zimmerman whom I met at Drumbeat Village?" Mabel asked straightforwardly.
