Extra Demon: Sacred Academy of Light Chapter 158

"Alright, so what do I have to do?" Arthur sighed as he stood, frowning, looking at the strange place they had brought him to. After having a few more drinks, the atmosphere relaxed a bit, more or less. Now, with the guidance of Her Majesty Brynthia, we arrived at what seemed to be a completely dark room. However, every now and then, some objects could be seen glowing and lighting up the place, revealing strange and somewhat suspicious items. At first glance, they appeared to be torture devices...

"..." Closing his mouth, he briefly looked at Her Majesty Brynthia's expression, which was grinning from ear to ear with shining eyes, as if she were in her favorite playroom. Just seeing that strange smile gave him goosebumps.

"You're still strange!" Elizabeth clicked her tongue while looking around with her sunglasses on. She skipped over to a shelf and curiously examined what seemed to be a giant needle with small incrustations around it, extending in all directions.

"What do you want me to do? The lizards are hard to deal with, especially if they're one of theirs," Brynthia shrugged indifferently as she continued walking deeper into the darkness of the room, which didn't seem small at all.

Arthur sighed as he ventured further into the room. The objects grew larger and more terrifying. It was clear that this was a torture chamber, and according to what was said, it was exclusively for dragons. They eventually reached a point where they had to go down some stairs, and the air around them became much colder and more sinister. A faint smell of rust started to fill Arthur's nose.

After a few minutes of descending, they arrived in a much more spacious hall than the previous ones. It wasn't completely dark; there were large glowing rocks embedded in the walls, and in front of them...

"An ancient dragon," Elizabeth smiled as she gazed at the dragon, which was as large as the room itself. It could easily measure more than 500 meters. The dragon had its eyes closed, seemingly in a deep sleep or perhaps dead. The large scales around its body still glowed golden, and the entire dragon seemed to be bathed in pure gold. It was simply magnificent to behold.

"This is the only one I managed to capture alive during the escape! He's a great subject for experimentation. It was such a pity the day he couldn't take it anymore and died," Brynthia frowned, clearly upset, and slightly shook her head. "But leaving sad thoughts aside, this will be a great object to accomplish what we want to do. It will undoubtedly be perfect." She smiled brightly, and the body of the enormous dragon began to tremble violently while golden motes of light started to rise and levitate above the dragon. These particular particles were quickly swirling around, trying to return to the dragon's body.

Elizabeth smiled as she pulled out a small trumpet and held it up in the air. It began to levitate and positioned itself amidst the golden particles, which were continuously pouring out of the dragon's body...

"We can start now!" Brynthia smiled brightly as the scales and flesh of the dragon began to peel off its body.

Golden halos began to detach from the small trumpet. The particles coming out of the dragon's body started to gather around the trumpet, shining intensely like small suns...

My body shivered a bit. "It's playing..." Stepping back slowly, a soft melody began to play faintly around us. "Don't tell me!" I widened my eyes and looked at Elizabeth, whose eyes were brighter than ever.

"Where's Arthur?" Leslie pouted as she crossed her arms. Last night, Professor Emilia had taken him with her to supposedly talk about something important. The problem was that this conversation seemed to last all night and half of the day. She sighed, and her eyes turned black...

"Come on, calm down... yeah," Daniela nervously swallowed as she looked at Leslie's jealous and cloudy eyes. "I'm sure they're taking care of some things, you know what I mean," Daniela whispered so no one else could hear.

Leslie blinked slowly, and her eyes returned to normal. Sighing to herself, she glared at Evelyn, who was wobbling as she walked. Her eyes were half-closed as she slept while walking, and it was a complete mystery how she could stay standing. "Sleepyhead, wake up!" Leslie grabbed Evelyn by the shoulders and shook her to wake her up.

Evelyn barely opened her eyes. "Annoying," she weakly said as she tried to return to normal...

"Can you three not make so much noise?" Olivia clicked her tongue. "Don't make the maid angry!" She pointed at the woman with deer antlers on her head, who was walking while explaining to the passing animals with a friendly, cordial smile.

Leslie bit her lip and nodded. "Where is she taking us?" she asked innocently.

"Are you serious?" Beatrice opened her mouth slightly...

"Besides being our guide, she's taking us to the only ancient dragon still alive, the one that remained loyal to the clear beasts! It's a real dragon! I'm so excited, it's the first time I'll see one in person!" Elias clenched his fist with clear excitement on his face while his eyes shone.

A low groan came from beside Leslie. Looking down, Evelyn was on the ground, touching her red nose, and her eyes were becoming teary...

Daniela bent down and tried to console her...

"We've arrived, dear guests," the maid's soft voice resonated in front of us. She slightly lowered her head as she slowly walked forward, her body glowing faintly in a chocolate color. After a few seconds, she said, "We can enter, go ahead," stepping aside, and the space in front of us slowly opened. Upon looking ahead, the vibrant forest full of vitality and green colors completely disappeared.

In front of us was a small mountain surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Above the water, small bubbles rose and silently popped. Around the water, there were huge trees that reached up into the sky...

Atop the small mountain sat a small dragon. Its scales were white with silver markings that glowed when touched by the sunlight. The dragon was too small to be an ancient dragon, but the pressure around this strange place was overwhelming.
