However, never did she expect that not only did Ye Shaoguang not bother moving an inch, but he also proceeded to completely unbutton his shirt, then tossed it aside casually and lay on the bed as he closed his eyes. He said, “That idiot outside your door is getting increasingly impatient. After thinking about Lil’ Xu’s personality, she was convinced he would actually do something like that.
At this moment, the knocking sounds at her door grew increasingly frantic while he sounded extremely worried. Thus, Ji Mianmian stiffened up and proceeded to toss Ye Shaoguang the blankets for him to hide under. After that, she tossed her clothes on the bed, making it seem messier than it was. The instant Ji Mianmian turned around to open up the door, Ye Shaoguang proceeded to sit up and toss a single piece of clothing that belonged to Ji Mianmian onto the ground with a mocking grin on his face.

Ji Mianmian proceeded to open up the door and she was instantly greeted by a panicked look on Lil’ Xu’s face. She said, “What… are you doing here?”
Lil’ Xu let out a huge sigh of relief as he let go of his hands and said, “I thought something horrible happened to you Mianmian. I um… I assumed you weren’t asleep yet so I brought your favorite pizza and barbeque over for you since I’m pretty sure you’d be hungry after staying up so late.”
After hearing Lil’ Xu’s reply, she felt guilty as she was unable to look Lil’ Xu straight in the eye. She said, “I… I fell asleep by accident earlier, so I didn’t hear you knock.”
“Was I disturbing you?”
Ji Mianmian frantically flailed her hands around and said, “No, nope… I was just tired, and even if you weren’t here, I would still be able to wake up.”
