Gu Xiaoxi kicked squarely into Yeh Bai’s chest, and he, covered in blood, lunged at her!
"Pfft!... It’s because seeing you excited me too much, so what if I didn’t have time to change clothes? How does that make me unprofessional?" Yeh Bai felt like coughing up blood. He was so enthusiastic, and yet she was unappreciative.
Gu Xiaoxi crossed her arms and gave him a disdainful glance, expressing her disgust, "Hurry up and change your clothes, I need to talk to you."
"Okay! Then wait for me a moment," Yeh Bai said, rubbing his chest and smiling with a twinkle in his eye. Before leaving, he didn’t forget to throw a flirtatious wink at Gu Xiaoxi.
Gu Xiaoxi facepalmed! She felt this guy was getting more and more improper by the day. Initially, she thought he was quite aloof, but later she found out.
He was simply a treasure.
Yeh Bai quickly changed his clothes and came out with a bottle of mineral water, which he tossed to Gu Xiaoxi, "I don’t have much to offer you here. Why don’t you come to my apartment? I have good wine!"
"No thanks!" Gu Xiaoxi took a sip of water and looked up at Yeh Bai, who was in a white suit. Instantly, his demeanor transformed into one that was handsome and graceful, with a hint of rugged charm in his cool gaze.
Seeing Gu Xiaoxi’s unimpressed expression, Yeh Bai immediately changed his approach, leaned in close to Gu Xiaoxi, and whispered, "I’ve got some material, do you want to see it? It might enlighten a wooden-head girl like you."
Gu Xiaoxi, shocked by his words, ended up spitting out the water she had just drunk.
Standing in front of Yeh Bai, with black lines on her forehead, she lifted her foot and gave him another kick, slamming him against the wall in the hospital’s corridor.
She felt that once familiar with this guy, he turned out to be no good at all. She remembered their first encounter, how cool and dashing he was.
But after getting to know him, his values were messed up, he was never once presentable.
Yeh Bai, like a squashed persimmon smashed against the wall, slumped there, feeling all his insides ache. Gu Xiaoxi’s kick showed no mercy.
It was infuriating! A woman without much meat on her bones, yet her moves bested his own!
"Xiao Xi, if you don’t want it, then fine. But that was too harsh. Let me tell you, I didn’t like watching it before either. But now I’m absolutely addicted, and I genuinely want to share it with you. I sent a clip to your phone earlier, why didn’t you accept it?" Yeh Bai, undeterred by the kick, continued to speak. The charm he once had was long gone.
Gu Xiaoxi placed a hand on her forehead, grabbed Yeh Bai by the collar, and headed to the hospital’s rooftop.
On the rooftop, she let go of his collar.
Yeh Bai chuckled, sitting on the roof’s bench and sizing up Gu Xiaoxi, "Your hair has grown a bit, looks a little more feminine than before."
Especially when he was staring at her chest, even though the tight camouflage outfit revealed nothing, his gaze was as if trying to bore a hole through it.
Gu Xiaoxi’s face darkened, her fist clenched, and she punched the top of Yeh Bai’s head, immediately causing three large bumps to appear through his hair.
Yeh Bai, in pain, clutched his head as twin streams of blood spurted from his nose, feeling a deep sense of injustice. "Xiao Xi, looking good is for others to see."
Gu Xiaoxi grabbed his collar with one hand, pushing his whole body against the back of the chair, and said word for word, "I think you’ve watched too many videos. Your brain is full of crap, and I’m here to talk serious business. Do the Yeh family and the Gu family have any ties?"
"What kind of ties?" Seeing Gu Xiaoxi’s serious expression, Yeh Bai stopped joking and became solemn. "As prominent families, there is some interaction, but as for close ties, there aren’t any."
