Even with her present, not only was she unable to help him, but it seemed she was disturbing his heart.
This kind of pain hadn’t troubled him for many years; he thought it had been healed, so why had it suddenly started again? And why was the pain more intense than before?
Quan Shaoqing felt extremely puzzled.
Suddenly, he experienced a sharp pain in his chest. Before he could think further, he let out a muffled groan from the pain.
Gu Xiaoxi returned to her room, unrolled the scroll, flipping it left and right, but found nothing.
With Quan Shaoqing looking like that, how could she possibly sleep?

Gu Xiaoxi had never seen Quan Shaoqing , his gaze authoritative even without anger, his dark eyes like furious, churning seas, or the lightning and thunder on a stormy night. In any case, standing before him, she felt a suffocating tremor.
Gu Xiaoxi gritted her teeth, strode forward, squatted down in front of him, sat next to him, and said with stubborn determination, "You can tell me to leave, but I won’t. Unless you don’t want me anymore."
Her eyes focused on his white bedsheet; since his eyes were terrifying, she decided not to look at them.
"You being here will disturb my peace, and my pain will worsen. Do you still want to stay?" His voice, hoarse from pain, sounded like the echo of a musical instrument, shattering into one’s heart.
Gu Xiaoxi stood up angrily, as he put it that way.
What else could she do? If going to the hospital were an option, they probably would have done so long ago. Why would he need to endure this?
She walked out of Quan Shaoqing’s room, turned off the light, and then closed the door behind him.
Then she found a spot to sit down by the door.
The night grew darker, and outside it became pitch black; soon the wind rose and rain began to pour.
Gu Xiaoxi sat at the door, staring out the glass window, her black eyes full of sorrow. Suddenly, she stood up, went back to her room, turned on the computer, and logged into her Jin account.
Her sudden intrusion startled everyone again.
Gu Xiaoxi explained the reason to everyone, "Does anyone know where Liu Yishou and Yi Haoran are?"
Su San, puzzled, asked, "What do you want with them?"
"It’s something important! Does anyone know?"
