The atmosphere in the Principal’s Office was tense. The principal stood by, fidgeting nervously.
"Er... Young Master Peary..." Principal Wu forced an awkward smile, completely baffled as to why Young Master Peary was there.
"Quiet." Dressed in a black suit, Maxwell Peary stood by the window, hands in his pockets, appearing relaxed. His eyes, however, blazed with intense danger.
On the playground below, Nia Mitchell was strolling around the track with a young man.

Ralph Perez smiled at Nia Mitchell. He had asked her out to discuss the party—not to invite her, but to warn her against going.
News of what happened at her engagement banquet had already spread throughout the campus, and it was bound to be brought up at the class gathering.
"I can’t hide forever," Nia Mitchell lamented. "Besides, it’s not like I did anything wrong." Sighing to the heavens, she knew she didn’t need to avoid anyone.
Her delicate and perfect profile seemed to glow under the sunlight, and Ralph Perez couldn’t deny the stirring in his heart.
Nia Mitchell turned and gave Ralph Perez a sweet smile. "Thank you for your concern, Class President."
"Nia, there’s something I want to tell you. Actually, I’ve always... always..."
"Uncle Peary!" Nia Mitchell stared in shock at the man approaching, unintentionally cutting Ralph Perez off.
Maxwell Peary walked over at a steady pace, backlit by the sun. His long shadow stretched out before him like a massive, imposing castle.
Ralph Perez followed Nia’s gaze. What a striking man. His deep, sharp eyes; his perfectly sculpted features... He was like a hawk in the night—cold, aloof, yet overwhelmingly imposing. Standing there alone, he exuded an aura of dominance, as if the whole world was beneath him.
