In the bathroom, the air was humid. The temperature in the room was extremely high.
The man’s low breathing mixed with the woman’s soft voice. Damp clothes scattered the floor.
After some time, Qiao Yu finally let Xia Ning go. Seeing the sleepy person in his arms, his heart ached a little. But more importantly, he felt satisfied. Only when she could completely belong to him could he feel at ease.
He turned on the showerhead and showered her. He carried her to the guest room and put her on the bed.

Her expression changed slightly. Why was she in this room?
Xia Ning stood up suddenly and realized that she was not wearing anything. She looked at the bruises on her and then at the pink children’s bedroom. It was very discordant.
She touched her head and remembered what happened last night. After they were done, Qiao Yu carried her to take a shower and then found a room to sleep in. She did not expect him to find this room.
Xia Ning darted a look at the brand new pink HelloKitty on the cupboard and some emotion flew through her eyes. She got up directly, pulled out the bedsheet, wrapped herself up, and went to the dressing room to get changed.
She walked out of the room and looked at the furniture inside. She went back to the bed and organized the blanket. Then she walked out and closed the door.
She stood on the corridor and could hear Enoch’s voice on the first floor.
“Daddy, I don’t want plain congee. I want meat buns. I want king-sized dumplings. I want sago soup.”
“You ate so much meat last night. You have to eat something light today. See how fat you are now.” Qiao Yu’s voice sounded somewhat despising.
Xia Ning looked down and smiled. She walked to the dressing room.
When she was done changing and washing up, Qiao Yu’s breakfast was ready as well.
Seeing the grey haute couture on Qiao Yu, Xia Ning was surprised. He actually knew how to search. In the morning, he looked cold and noble, completely different from the person who went crazy last night.
“Mummy is a lazy pig. You woke up late!” Enoch looked at Xia Ning and said with a smile.
Xia Ning stood there and looked a bit awkward.
“Come and have breakfast,” Qiao Yu looked at Xia Ning and said softly.
Xia Ning nodded and walked to the table. Breakfast was just fried eggs and plain congee.
Qiao Yu scooped some congee for Xia Ning and put it in front of her. He also scooped a bowl for himself. He sat down and stirred the congee. Suddenly, he asked, “Has another man lived here before?”
