Xia Ning was pushed against the wall. His breath was between her lips and teeth. His aura was very strong as if he was trying to prove something. The air in her mouth seemed to be taken away by him and she could not breathe.

She did not know why but she felt anxiety from his kiss. This feeling of anxiety almost made him lose his mind.

“Qiao Yu, what’s wrong?” She moved away from his kiss and asked in a low voice.

Qiao Yu stopped his movements suddenly. Wrapping his arms around her neck and placing his head on her forehead, he said in a low voice, “Promise me, never leave me.”

As if he felt Xia Ning’s sadness, Qiao Yu’s face turned cold. There seemed to be some dark clouds moving in his dark eyes and the atmosphere around him turned colder. He looked at her and said in a low voice, “Are you really leaving me?”
Xia Ning saw his cold and handsome face and suddenly had the urge to cry.

She had the most perfect first love and the happiest family.
She moved her lips suddenly. “Of course not. I won’t leave you.”
She walked up to Qiao Yu and kissed the corner of his lips. She said in a low voice, “Don’t tell me your wish is for me to never leave you?”
Qiao Yu’s dark eyes tightened. He looked at her with a deep gaze and did not answer.
But Xia Ning already understood. She smiled in a low voice. “I thought you wished for something supreme, Mr. Qiao. So that’s it.”
Qiao Yu saw her smiling like a flower and his face got darker. The hand around her waist tightened suddenly.
“Is it that funny?” He was not happy.
“No!” Xia Ning smiled playfully and hugged his neck. She kissed him on the lips again. “Mr. Qiao is so cute.”
Cute? Qiao Yu’s gaze flashed with a trace of danger. He looked at her and said quietly, “It’s my birthday today. Where’s Mrs. Qiao’s birthday gift?”
Birthday gift? Xia Ning felt that the topic changed a little too quickly. Before she could react, her body suddenly lightened and she was picked up by him.
“What are you doing?” She patted the man on the shoulder.
Qiao Yu held her and walked towards the bathroom. “Of course I’m going to open my birthday gift…”
