The young voice actress held her phone aloft, sweeping the camera over the inside of the shop as she spoke.
When she first started overseeing the work, she used to send Cheng Zhu a photo.
But as someone who liked to record her life, Lin Lu later took it upon herself to film the interior every time she came for an inspection, essentially documenting the progress and changes at the construction site.
And indeed, it was taking shape nicely.

When she turned around, she found that her bump had caused Cheng Zhu to spill some of his coffee on his clothes.
“Eh? The coffee spilled.” Lin Lu quickly opened her little bag and pulled out a tissue.
One of the perks of having a girl around is that when you need a tissue, they usually have one on hand.
So Lin Lu took a tissue and helped Cheng Zhu wipe his clothes. Seeing that his palm, too, had some coffee on it, she gently wiped his hand as well.
Their palms touched briefly.
She felt the heat of his palm.
He felt the coolness of her small hand.
“Here, a freshly bought toffee hazelnut latte, I haven’t even had a sip, take it to warm your hands,” said Cheng Zhu, handing her the steaming coffee.
The straightforward and passionate Lin Lu never stood on ceremony with him.
She took the coffee, sighed contentedly, “Whew–! So warm, so warm.”
Cheng Zhu laughed softly and they both walked into the milk tea shop.
The two young guys installing glowing acrylic sheets gaped when they saw Lin Lu.
