The bear grinned and lifted its great paw, waving back at Luther. Once Luther was far enough away, it lowered its head and continued gnawing at a wild boar.
“Didn’t you say this place had the Life Sacred Pool? Why can’t I see the World Tree?” Luther asked.
Silver coin pointed around: “It’s all over. To avoid detection, the God of Life changed the World Tree’s appearance, making it spread out. Every tree, vine, and blade of grass you see could be a disguise of the World Tree.”
“Wow–” Luther exclaimed in an exaggerated tone, seemingly impressed by the revelation.
“Ordinary people can easily get lost in such a forest and would not be able to reach the interior, but we can go anywhere we like; the God of Life will open the path for us,” Silver coin explained.
Wandering aimlessly, they quickly arrived at the valley where the deep pool was located.
After some time of growth, the World Tree had sprouted various vines that covered the entire valley. Even a view from the sky would only reveal a dense forest, hardly revealing the pool below.
Usually, an ethereal fog hovered over the pool, disorienting anyone who stumbled in, who would unwittingly find themselves back outside.
Only beings recognized by the God of Life could enter and see the whole picture clearly. When Luther stepped in, he was startled to see two huge eyes staring at him from a crevice.

Doroc emerged from the crevice, looming over Luther.
Luther immediately shouted again: “Be careful, run, there’s a four-legged snake!”
Doroc was so irritated that it almost wanted to slap him.
“Doroc, this is Luther, Luther, this is Doroc. Luther, have you been hanging out with Lightning too much? You’re really annoying,” said Silver coin curiously.
“Maybe, but it’s just as annoying, calling someone blind like that. It’s rude,” Luther quickly retorted, realizing the ‘giant snake’ was an ally when Silver coin didn’t react to his tug.
With friends, there was no need for physical confrontation–just a battle of wits.
Doroc, no match for the ‘well-trained’ Luther, grunted in frustration and retreated back into the crevice.
It resumed evolving, constantly feeling sleepy recently, requiring fourteen hours of sleep each day. After waking, it would eat, then fall asleep again, its belly getting fatter and fatter, turning from a slender lizard-dragon into a plump Fatty Dragon.
Luther crossed the crevice where Doroc was and soon saw the soilless rice spanning the entire pool and a massive vine extending from the pool, thick as a mountain boulder.
Below the vine, Ange, Negris, Little Angel, Little Zombie, and others were gathered around a fruit.
Luther and Silver coin approached silently, and Little Angel glanced back at them before turning away once again.
Turning away meant recognition. If she didn’t know them, she would have turned back with Holy Light Flash.
Negris was speaking: “Old Tree, this isn’t right. You’re growing too fast. What’s going on? Is the soil here too rich? But you don’t even absorb nutrients.”
Negris had planted the World Tree before and was well aware of its growth rate. It would only grow so quickly if other plants in the vicinity were growing, providing a surge of vitality.
Even with Ange’s Instant Death Halo speeding up the soilless rice, the growth rate of the World Tree was oddly fast, suggesting something nearby was providing a powerful life force.
The God of Life perched on Ange’s shoulder nodded: “The Heaven-Reaching Divine Tree has a powerful life force.”
“The Heaven-Reaching Divine Tree? There’s only one of it, and it can provide so much life force for you?” Negris was astonished.
The God of Life nodded: “Very strong. When Ange fertilizes it, it bursts with even more life force and grows rapidly. Now, it has matured.”
“Matured? You don’t mean this fruit, do you? This is a fruit of the Heaven-Reaching Divine Tree?” Negris asked in disbelief.
The God of Life nodded again.
“But… But… the Heaven-Reaching Divine Tree, how is it reaching the heavens? Which heavens did it reach?” Negris felt cheated looking at the ‘Heaven-Reaching’ Divine Tree mere human height. It was so short, where could it reach? He could jump over it in a single bound.
The God of Life clarified: “You keep saying ‘Heaven-Reaching Divine Tree’, misleading me too. It’s actually a Dimension Plant. The fruit it bears is an independent Dimensional Space. The ‘reaching heaven’ part probably refers to reaching another dimension.”
