He even rewarded the little cubs if they performed well, giving them licks, kisses, and hugs.
Watching this from not far away, Jinya and Little Jin couldn’t help but find the situation absurd.
"Do you feel like our child is a bit unusual?"
Little Jin sat solemnly beside Jinya, frowning, "This kid... is learning from the two-legged beasts how to raise cats?"
Jinya’s eyes sparkled upon hearing Little Jin’s words.
It seemed like a pretty nice feeling! The joy of raising and petting cats, who raises them knows.

Little Jin’s appearance ranked top-tier among the Golden Cats there. If he weren’t dismissively indifferent to other cats and the nursing-period mother cat weren’t around, his stroll would cause a flurry of surrounding mother cats.
Little Jin wasn’t interested in cubs with guardians, but Jinya was different. He went over to greet Huihui, then looked down at the bravest cub.
The little cub bore a six or seven-fold resemblance to Little Jin back then.
Looking at this little kitten, Jinya couldn’t help but recall the time when Little Jin was just a furball, always snuggling against Jinya, thoroughly enjoying being groomed.
Lost in thought, Jinya dipped his head, catching the bolder kitten and began a relentless lick-fest.

The kitten shrieked pathetically, the long-haired big cat was too oblivious to boundaries, how could it stick its tongue everywhere so indiscriminately!
"Wuuu ┭┮﹏┭┮, hair, I’m going bald!"
Huihui raised a paw nearby, hesitating, its expression conflicted until the kitten wailed mournfully once more. Finally, he gathered the courage to lightly tap Jinya with his paw.
"Mommy, mommy hold back, it’s still little..."
Jinya snapped out of it, looked at the three trembling kittens behind his son, then at the almost lifeless kitten in his embrace, tilting his head.
"Whoa, was I licking your dad back then?"
Huihui looked sympathetically at Little Jin seated nearby, yet Little Jin wore a slight smile on his face.
"Meow-wow, wow-wow~~" How the little tone rippled with small waves.
"It’s not me; it’s too weak!"
Hearing Little Jin’s words, Jinya showed some doubt, but quickly accepted Little Jin’s explanation.
After all, the two of them were the same species, if Little Jin said so, then it must be true!
The mother cat nearby rolled her eyes and continued her lazy lying.
Being a mom is exhausting, with Big Cats willing to help watch the kittens, she seized the chance to steal some rest, such a rare opportunity, she opted to just keep lying.
Jinya and Little Jin continued observing Huihui caring for the cubs nearby, but ultimately, the lynx differed from the Golden Cats. Many of Huihui’s hunting skills were learned from Brother Leopard. Despite attempting to mimic Little Jin’s father’s actions, given the species’ difference, the movements taught inevitably deviated.
Little Jin bit his lip watching for a while, could no longer bear it, went over to chase Huihui away, seriously called the four kittens together, leading them in practicing Golden Cats’ hunting techniques.
Every cat has its special trick. The cat mother was skillful, yet her hunting ability wasn’t particularly outstanding, even slightly inferior to Huihui, that’s why she trusted Huihui to handle the cubs.

At this moment, a beast approached and instinctively, the little ones rushed towards their mother to hide behind her.
The bravest cub stopped midway, glanced at Little Jin and Huihui, turned around and halted, imitating their defensive stance.
Seeing this, Jinya was delighted.
An unfamiliar Flower Leopard appeared before them, its form agile, its musculature unbelievably exaggerated.
As it emerged from the woods, it regarded the mix of big and small cats, its originally sharp gaze gradually turned blank.
What the heck, weren’t the beasts at Jiamu Gully known for their ferocity and mother animals supposedly best suited for parenting? How... could it turn out ?
The kitten’s legs shook in fear, yet it didn’t lose its feisty demeanor. It audaciously growled before any of the other big cats, "Meow-wow~~"
It was, it was somewhat catchy!
The muscle leopard looked down at the kitten with a glance, then at the tougher-looking cats around, shook its head, and darted towards another hillside.
"Little Jin, come on, let’s check it out."
When it came to serious matters, Jinya wasn’t the least bit equivocal, promptly calling Little Jin to conduct a patrol.
The Jiamu Gully First Aid Station was their two-legged beasts’ territory, they couldn’t let the unruly wild beasts wreak havoc.
"Whoa, you gather the cubs and head back to the den to hide for now, we’ll go check the situation. Son, notify your Aunt Leopard, tell them to widen their patrol range a bit more."
"Okay mom, I’m on it."
Huihui obediently stood up to leave, the daring Golden Cat let out a meow-chomp on his tail-tip, big eyes steadfastly expressing two words: Want to go!
