The little kitten eventually went, carried by Huihui.
Little Jin said it was good to let it know the place, so it could directly go to the rescue station for help in the future.
Huihui brought the little kitten back to the rescue station, explained the situation to Leopard Sister, and turned around to see the lively kitten scurrying around everywhere, even climbing up the wooden passage to the second floor, cautiously running towards the platform of the small building.
"Aww, come down, hurry down!"
Huihui quickly jumped up, trying to take the mischievous little guy away. But when the little guy saw Huihui coming, it moved its four little legs even faster and zipped under the chair on the second-floor platform.
The gap was a bit small; Huihui couldn’t fit in, not even its paw, which made it circle around urgently, howling.
Little Jin’s father said that this side of the small building wasn’t a place they could horse around.
The little kitten squeezed out from the other side of the chair and dashed towards the second-floor corridor like the wind when Huihui wasn’t paying attention.
Hearing the commotion, Huihui immediately turned around to chase, only to be dumbfounded when it saw the little kitten squeezing through the railing gap, hanging itself on the edge, with only the tips of its sharp claws wedged in the wood, successfully hanging on the balcony.
Huihui’s head was a bit too big to fit through, and it couldn’t hook the kitten out of there, making it howl anxiously several times.
Mengmeng, who was inside the second-floor office checking materials with Xiao Shen, heard the noise, and upon opening the door, was startled. Quickly reaching out to try to scoop the kitten up.
"Mengmeng, stop, don’t go, I’ll do it." Xiao Shen caught her, "These are wild animals, haven’t been vaccinated, and you’re pregnant, be careful not to get scratched."
While talking, he grabbed the kitten’s upper body, lifting it up.
The little kitten, a bit stressed, bit Xiao Shen’s thumb.
After Huihui’s "aow" cry, it released, showing a face of "shocked, need comfort, need hugs and kisses."
After being let down by Xiao Shen, it darted under Huihui’s belly fur, its little butt still trembling visibly for quite a while.

Technically, Xiao Shen was supposed to have returned to school by now but insisted on staying, claiming he recently had inspiration and wanted to continue studying animal behavior.
His master’s graduation thesis would surely not be a problem, having published two significant papers, and with some family connections, he’s currently in the doctoral application process.
Huihui slightly tilted its head, nuzzled Xiao Shen’s palm, with a curved mouth corner as if smiling.
Its personality was exceptionally good, arguably the gentlest, most emotionally stable big cat that everyone at the rescue station had seen.
Cats typically have a bit of a tempestuous streak, but none of this was evident in Huihui.
Its hunting skills in the wild were strong, and at the station, it was willing to help the Two-legged beast, a good baby.
Before New Year, Xiao Hai planned to take the black and white snakes back to the Snake Research Institute for winter. The white snake was a troublemaker and didn’t want to leave, but the cold weather of Jiamu Gully made it uncomfortable. In the end, Huihui pulled it down from the tree and gave it to Xiao Hai to box up.
Other cats weren’t dared to help, fearing that if Little Bai when irritated, stubbornly refused to move, those cats would just eat it up like a spicy snack.
Xiao Shen was sent by Mengmeng to handle the tooth marks, while Mengmeng led the two cats downstairs to give the little kitten a bowl of kitten food that Little Sen made.
This was specially made by Little Sen for the cats owned by his mother-in-law, entirely handmade, not much in quantity, because it contained no preservatives, couldn’t be stored for long.
The little kitten, attracted by the fragrant cat food, chewed a few pieces with delight, happily burying its head in work.
Huihui also found it quite fragrant, and ate a few pieces. It still preferred fresh meat and only occasionally ate such snacks.
Once the little kitten had eaten almost enough, Huihui grabbed it by the nape of its neck to bring it back.
Reaching the little kitten’s nest, just set it down, saw the little kitten spit out a few pieces of cat food from its mouth, then meowed, calling its brothers and sisters to come eat.
Huihui let out a breath, called to the mother cat, and was about to leave.
But before turning away, it caught a whiff in the wind.
Huihui turned around instantly, staring intently at a tree just above the cat’s nest.
From Huihui’s expression, the Cat Mother understood there was danger and swiftly tucked the kittens into the den.
"Meow aow, I’m just here to take a look, don’t be like that, buddy."
Pang Jin showed half of its face, grinning awkwardly, "I heard there’ve been many predators around lately, was worried, so came to check it out."
Seeing it was Pang Jin, Huihui slightly relaxed.
