The man on the other side almost choked on his coffee "How about we talk about it in the Tang's Ancestral hall?"
Tang Li coughed "Heh~ brother, why did you call me?"
Tang Yichen smirked. This little princess of his was rather fearless but he knew how much uncomfortable she felt at the mention of Tang's ancestral hall. Nobody knows the reason behind except for her, but even he felt uneasy at the vibes that place gave him. It was like those old ancestors were still looking at them, that eerie place was quite scary.
It will not be a surprise if she was frightened as every girl is afraid of ghosts. But what he never knew was Tang Li wasn't afraid of those white colored ghosts roaming outside, she never was. What scares her the most were the dark shadows who haunted her mind.
"There are some developments on our investigation about Song Family. Are you sure that they are related to that matter?" Tang Yichen finally spoke up the reason for which he had called her.
"I am not sure. It's a gut feeling but since there are no other leads, we might as well get to the bottom of it. Moreover, don't you think that how the father-son duo behaved was rather unusual?"
A certain cold face flashed in Tang Yichen's mind. There was something similar about that man, Song Tianyu, the infamous Master Song. Then he thought about the old man who was the same age as his grandpa, the man who spoke so warmly towards him and his sister. Something complicated flashed in his deep eyes. Were they friend or a foe?
"Sigh... you're right. Aren't you interested in the new information I've got?"
"Why don't you come to our place today?" Tang Li swiftly offered an invitation. The man has been grumpy ever since he came to know about her marriage and never ever visited Grace villa incase his heart hurts.
"Why don't you move in to Tang's main mansion with him? We'll take that man as our son in law."
Tang Li expressionlessly retorted "Are you sure that you aren't going to marry in Mo Family?"
Tang Yichen: "_" That wild man has corrupted my pure sister.
Oh please! Have you ever seen someone corrupt a leash of foxes? No, right? Then how can the Tang Family be ever corrupted?!
"Cough... Alright, I'll see you at your place this evening," Tang Yichen quickly hung up leaving Tang Li wonder. Does this decade old matter really have something to do with Song Family?

Old Master Song, who just appeared at the doorway, harrumphed "Why must you insist on doing it since it is harmful? It is already the second time you are doing it. You can get some makeup applied too, rather than hurting yourself."
"Father," the man slightly shrugged "It's weird for men to apply tons of makeup on their faces. I couldn't use a mask at the evening ball so as to not look suspicious to them."
"We could have opted for other options too," The old man refused to give up.
"It will completely alter my features and it would have been too obvious. There were many VIPs at the ball who has met me once or twice before. This was the last option, to slightly change the contours and shade so that I look a little bit different yet nobody could say how. Moreover, with me like this, they couldn't figure out anything."
"Then, why must you insist on keeping it a secret? Let's just tell them."
Song Tianyu's expressionless face shone with ruthlessness as he muttered "I don't want to put them in any danger. As long as we don't catch the person responsible for all this, I won't let anything happen to them."
The old man rubbed his aching forehead "Then couldn't you just go to office and do work? Why are you torturing yourself with all these things?"
No matter what he said, this son of his has the capability to oppose him and not only that, he knows how to convince him. This time he will see what the man comes up with!
A certain handsome face turned pitiful as he softly whispered "I'm her father,'' as if it was not enough, he added "I miss my daughter."
