"Tang Yichen, what are you doing?" Mo Jia came back to her senses when Tang Yichen walked out of the door while carrying her over his shoulders like a sack.
But Tang Yichen did not seem to be in the mood to talk as he walked straight towards his car as he opened the door and threw her in the shotgun seat. Yes, 'threw' her! But the throw was nothing harsh or rough as she found herself sitting safely, the man buckled her seatbelt before walking towards the other side of the car and getting inside the driver's seat.
All the way back to her luxurious villa, Tang Yichen kept quiet despite Mo Jia's numerous attempts to make him talk. She was confused as to why he was behaving like this.
As soon as they reached the villa, he dragged her inside before shutting the door close.
"You...Mmmph.." The rest of her words were dragged by his fiery kiss that she didn't see coming.
Her eyes widened when his hand slid inside her shirt, rubbing her waist. Her breathing hitched and she tried to push him away. But he grabbed both her hands before pinning them above her head. He pressed his body onto hers as he deepened the kiss, he squeezed her waist and she gasped.
Taking advantage of her movement, his tongue slid inside, exploring her mouth as his lips tried to suck her essence. Her knees buckled up and she almost slid down the wall if not for his strong body holding her in place.
The more she struggled, the more he tightened his grip on her, enough to trap her in his arms but not enough to hurt her.
Her face flushed because of breathlessness as she struggled against his tight grip. What was he even trying to do? She resisted the pleasure that she got when he touched her, when he kissed her like that.
Her face flushed with anger. What was he even doing with his secretary? The last time she met that lady, Tang Yichen did not even bother to introduce her as his wife, he said that she was his friend. The more she thought, the more she struggled to get out of the embrace but the man did not budge.
She did not know what was wrong with her but she felt hurt, angry and emotional.
The rims of her eyes reddened as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Tang Yichen who was trying to teach the woman a lesson, did not realize when he lost himself in the kiss. The more he felt her struggle, the more he wanted to cage her in his arms. He kissed her as hard as he could trying to express what he felt for her.
It was until he tasted those tears that rolled down her cheeks that he snapped back to his senses. He broke the kiss as he looked at her, astonished at what he saw. She was crying so hard that her whole face was covered with tears, just like the day when she fought with her grandmother.
That day, he knew how much the woman truly mattered to him.
"Shh...Don't cry... I'm here with you Just don't cry like this" He just couldn't bear the sight of those tears in her eyes.
He would rather see her poker face every day.
But she cried even harder when he tried to coax her gently.
He could only helplessly wrap his wife in his arms trying to calm her down as he stroked her back. "What am I going to do with you?" He murmured.
He knew he was kind of overbearing but he could not help it. He was frustrated, angry, and disappointed that she never shared anything with him. He did not know how to read minds but he expected her to share what going on with her which she never did. She would rather stay at Mo Zihan's place than talking to him about what was bothering him.
If Mo Yuhan would not have told him, then he would not have known that she was at her brother's place. Not that he could not investigate, he was just disappointed that she did not find it necessary to inform him.
He had to scheme against the devil to get the address as quickly as possible.
After she calmed down, he led her to the couch in the living room. He quickly walked towards the kitchen before bringing a glass of water. "Here, drink it," He said before sitting beside her.
She eyed the glass of water but instead of holding the glass from his hand, she held his hand before pulling it towards herself. She gulped a few mouthfuls of water without taking the glass from his hand. "Thank you," she said.
Tang Yichen's lips twitched. Was his wife acting spoiled?
His eyes twinkled in amusement as he put the glass of water on the coffee table before inching closer to her as he pulled her in a hug.
"Why did you go to Zihan's place?" As he asked her, he was reminded of the desolate building. When he reached the address that Mo Yuhan was sent to him, for a split-second he thought that either the man played a prank on him or he wanted to have him assassinated in the middle of this unknown forest.
It was not until he entered inside the building that he was greeted by the sight of the lavish condominium that Mo Zihan lived in.
Mo Jia blinked at his question, "To consider If we should be getting a divorce or not," She said frankly, much to his astonishment.
Tang Yichen glanced at her exasperation. Does this woman even think before speaking something? Was she trying to provoke him by speaking about divorce? He could not comprehend what was going on in her mind.
He left in the morning without having breakfast just because she mentioned 'divorce' yet she had to speak about the same thing right now.
