Tang Li already informed Li Yu and Si Xiu about her current location as she tried to catch up to the black sedan that was nowhere in sight.
Luckily, the highway was a one-way road. If it had some turnings or alleys, she would have given up on the hope of catching up to Mo Yuhan.
She did not care about the speeding limit as she drove and her efforts did not go to waste as she soon spotted that black sedan amongst the other vehicles as it approached a junction right ahead.
But before she could catch up to the car, it took a right turn. Tang Li drove towards the junction before getting out of the car.
She furrowed her brows when she saw the black sedan was still parked there but there was no one inside. Her feet were burning because she impulsively ran on the scorching sand dune barefooted. After putting on her heels, she glanced around the place standing in.
It was a straight road covered by trees on both sides. As she walked towards the side of the road, she discovered there was no other hidden road or alley.
"Where did they disappear all of a sudden?" She walked towards the black sedan that was parked on the side of the road. Through the transparent windshields, she could see that there was no one inside.
As a gust of wind passed by, there was a rustling sound. Tang Li tilted her down to her feet when she felt something sticking to her ankle. Since she was not wearing business pants or stockings, her legs were bare and the piece of paper caught her attention.
She squatted down before picking up the paper that was sticking to her ankle. She raised a brow when she saw the contents. A piece of the map?
She put it in her purse before looking around.
"President.."
She turned around to look at Si Xiu who excitedly ran towards her, "President, have you caught your husband?"
Li Yu, who just came back after parking the car found himself speechless. Caught your husband? It's a husband for god's sake and not a fish who needs to be caught!
Tang Li's lips twitched, "No, he jumped out of the net."

She pointed towards the black sedan, "They were in front of me before this junction but when I came here, only this car was left. I lost track of them."
Si Xiu frowned, "How is it possible?" Both the sides of the road were equal to a cliff, one would be a fool if they jumped from such a height.
As soon as they got Tang Li's call, they set out from the hotel to get to her location. Since she had her location activated in the cellphone, they easily found her. Who could've expected there would be another problem waiting for them here?
Li Yu frowned, "It's not impossible for them to disappear."
Tang Li waited for him to continue.
Under her hard stare, the man coughed, "There could be a hidden path."
"I have checked it," She gently rubbed her brows. There were cliffs on both the side of the road. No turnings, no alleysexcept for the trees, there was nothing. Tang Li paused her thought process at that thought.
"Trees.." She muttered before looking around.
Li Yu quickly caught onto her point.
Si Xiu walked towards her in doubt, "Do you think there could be some hidden path in these trees?"
Tang Li nodded, "Possible. Or else, how would they disappear all of a sudden?"
And true to her thoughts, her attention was caught on the large oak tree. The black sedan was parked exactly under it. So, maybe
She quickly ran towards the edge of the road before glancing at the tree that was slightly curved outwards with an enormous hollow in it.
"Damn.." Just as her leg slipped, she held one of the hanging galls of the oak tree before stabilizing on her feet.
Si Xiu helped her in standing properly, "Be careful. Is it there?"
Tang Li nodded, "But we have to go cautiously. One wrong step and we will fall off the height," Looking at the woman, she added, "You can choose not to come with us," After all, Si Xiu was her secretary, she was not obliged to be involved in the dangers in her life.
"I will go," Si Xiu replied with determination in her eyes. She was assigned to protect Tang Li, how could she back out at times like this.
As they entered the hidden path, it led them to an underground bar, Tang Li was taken aback by it. She never imagined there would be a bar in a public place, hidden behind the girth of an oak tree.
The loud music made Tang Li frown. She felt as if her ears would start bleeding. There was a strange smell in the air and she blamed it on the alcohol. She never liked bars or parties or anything as such.
There was no security or anyone as such in the entrance but the bar was boisterous and lively. One glance at the place and undoubtedly, it is an active bar.
The last time when she went to a reunion party during her teenage years, she was almost raped. Then when she went to the evening ball of the Song Family, she was drugged by Meng Zhilan. And this time, she did not get any good vibes. She just hoped everything will be fine.
The dim lightings made it impossible for her to find Mo Yuhan in the crowd.
Before she could take a step further, Li Yu blocked her path, "We should stay together this time."
Tang Li sighed. She understood his concerns. The last time they went to the museum, they split in different directions to look for Mo Yuhan but the result led them to danger.
"Shall we?" He asked with a serious and professional expression on her face.
Si Xiu looked at the man speechless. Her hands felt sweaty. Although she chastised him a few times, she could not help but be drawn closer to him, he was so manly and charming.
