"Mmmm." Ying Yue rolled on the bed as she rubbed her eyes. The thick curtains prevented sunlight from entering the room and it left her confused. "Is it evening or midnight? Did I wake up too early?" she mumbled dazedly, taking in the bedside lamp that cast dim lighting in the room.
"Ughh" Ying Yue pushed herself to sit on the bed as she borrowed her face inside the plushy blanket. She wiped the drool off her face as her gaze landed on the BL comics that she had been reading before she fell asleep.
She pulled out her phone from the bedside table to look at the time. Sigh She overslept. It was already past noon.
After going on a shopping spree yesterday, she was excited to meet her boyfriend and give him the things she had purchased for him. But when she called him, he informed her that he was working overnight and would be staying at the office.
He forgot to mention it to her since there was a meeting earlier.
Later on, she dozed off while reading the comic.
"Maybe I should just go over there to surprise him," She murmured to herself before jumping off the bed excitedly.
Su Corps.
Gasps and murmurs filled through the crowd of employees as they sized up the woman standing in front of the receptionist desk.
"You don't believe me? I heard her say that," A female staff whispered.
"Did she really say that?" Another one was in disbelief.
"Yes, she even batted her eyelashes and coyly said 'Call Zihan and tell him that her baby is here to meet him'. I was passing by and overheard it."
"She must be one of his women. Haven't you heard the rumors? Our Acting CEO is involved with many butterflies," Her colleague mumbled.
"Miss, you can't go inside to meet our CEO without appointments," It has only been a few days after their CEO's accident that the Third young master Mo became the acting CEO of Su Corporations and there has been a queue of flowers in front of her desk, demanding to see their Acting CEO.
The receptionist grimaced inwardly as she looked at the suspicious woman standing in front of her.
Ying Yue donned a little red dress combined with high ankle-length boots. A scarf was wrapped around her head while a few strands of unruly hair swayed with the movement of her eyebrows, her phoenix-like eyes were hidden beneath black shades.
She pouted, her ruby red lips puckering up a little, "Say, sweetie, won't you let me have a look at your handsome CEO?"
The receptionist was dumbfounded. Was it right for women to be so eager in such things?
Red can make some women look gaudy but at the same time, it can enhance someone's charm too. Right now, Ying Yue was the latter, charming and mysterious.
"You won't let me see him?" She enjoyed the receptionist's flustered reactions. Ying Yue pinched her chin before leaning closer to the woman, "Say, babe, what would it take for you to let me in?" She whispered in a seductive tone.
The receptionist's face flushed like a tomato, the supermodel's glam was too much for her poor heart. "IYou.." She wondered if she had some inclinations towards the opposite
While Ying Yue was busy flirting with the little receptionist, Mo Zihan was dealing with the oldies of Su Corporations.
"CEO Mo, it has been so many days since you have taken over the position but the company is still in chaos. What do you think about it?" One of the shareholders angrily slammed the desk trying to intimidate the new CEO.
An old man spoke up righteously, "Chairman Su doesn't like to interfere in company matters most of the time, President Su is on sick leave. And you, as the current heir of Su Corporations, seem to be just a 'rich young master' who is out for some fun."
Chairman Su was none other than Su Yahui's father who rarely interfered in company matters. As for Su Yahui, she was busy chasing flower boys while her husband, Mo sibling's father tried to be patient with the currently sick woman.
Although Mo Zihan resigned from Ash Corporations to take over his rightful position, the CEO throne of Su Corps but the matter was not known to many people. They thought he was temporarily replacing his mother to handle her duties in her absence but the truth was far from that.
On the other hand, they were not satisfied with his performance. It has been such so long, just how much time did this man want to set the things right in the company?
"We can't afford to offend CEO Mo. After all, he is not only the Third Young Master of Mo Family but also the Vice President of Ash Corporations," They did not know that Mo Zihan has already resigned. In fact, the man was indirectly insinuating that his position in Ash Corporations had nothing to do with his qualification but instead it was just because of his identity as the Mo Family Young Master.
Even though Ash Corps was not a force to mess with but at the end which individual can fight a devil like Mo Yuhan? So what they thought was that he must have done something to place Mo Zihan in that position so that they would have a good impression of him.
Mo Zihan's lips twitched. Can't afford to offend? Are you sure that you are not offending me right now?
"Aye~ Director Jiang, you must chill. I say you should go on holiday. This is not the right age for you to overreact over such things. Heart diseases are pretty common these days. We won't want you to" He paused, a sunny smile remained on his face as he raised his thumb and made a swipe motion near his neck.
"You You You are cursing me to die?" The old man surnamed Jiang nearly puked blood. Where did this brat pop out from? How dare he curse him like that?
