Despite the dim lightings in the hall, the halo around the dance floor was bright. With the spotlight falling in the middle of the dance floor, ten couples danced around it with each couple passing through the shining spot once. And every time a couple passed through the spotlight, the female partners will be interchanged with the consecutive males.
As beautiful as the dance mixer arrangement was, Mo Yuhan did not look like he was appreciating it. As the third couple from the spotlight, he had one of his hands tucked inside his pocket while the other one was wrapped around his partner's waist but just his wrist touched her body without his palm making contact with her body. The female had both her hands on his shoulders.
One closer look at him and one would think that someone forced the man to do this.
His female partner did not seem a bit bothered by it as she danced smoothly.
Mo Yuhan adjusted his earpiece while his sharp gaze glanced around the hall, scanning over every small exchange going inside.
There was a round of applause and their position shifted from third to second. His female partner moved to the person ahead of him while the woman behind him came to him.
His position remained unchanged while the woman tried to get closer to him, purposefully rubbing her breast on his chest.
The more aloof a guy is, the more attention he will attract, and that exactly happening there.
But Mo Yuhan never once looked at the person he was dancing with until she started getting touchy. His gaze darkened. He stepped on her toes ruthlessly.
"Ah" A muffled scream escaped her lips as she glared at the man, "Are you trying to embarrass me here?"
"I don't know how to dance," He said solemnly without bothering to look at her.
And that comforted the woman's heart while giving her some face.
But little did she know that he did it because he did not want to be impulsive and ruin the mission which would keep him here for longer. If things were not like that, the consequences of rubbing her breast on his chest would have been much more severe than a simple 'stepping on the toes'.
Another round of applause and the partners shuffled yet again.
It was his turn to dance under the spotlight.
Mo Yuhan glanced around the enormous hall checking the position of the team members.
"Exchanging womentsk I mean dance partners, getting your chest rubbed by their bulky breasts, life seems to be going all well for you, isn't it, darling~?"
He stilled as his heart skipped a beat.
Tang Li smirked.
It has been ten minutes since they stepped on the dance floor and it took all her strength to not pounce on the man who stood aloof amidst the crowd.
Tang Li had her eyes stuck on him from the very first moment she stepped on the dance floor. Despite him wearing a mask and changing his usual style, she could still recognize him with a single glance.
His look was a bit transformed. Dressed in that expensive black suit, he was different from his usual frigid self.

But those hormones were calling for her from a distance.
When he was in the third number, she was sixth. The arrangement was something she deliberately did so that she could end up with him under the spotlight and surprise him.
All the three male partners she had to dance with before reaching in his arms were her trusted bodyguard, Li Yu, and Mark.
It was also well-prepared so that she would not trigger her allergies.
But she overestimated her self-control. Looking at him dancing with others, the taste of vinegar was too obvious.
Despite him keeping a distance, those women were throwing themselves at him.
And she as the legal wife was watching from a distance.

The ten minutes seemed like years until Mark twirled her "Go princess, it's time to find your prince," he whispered beside her ear.
And there she was.right in his arms in the next moment.
That familiar scentthose azure eyes looking everywhere but her.
Twenty-four hours of not seeing him messed her system properly.

That airy voice sounded right beside his ear. He could feel a finger making its way up to his body before drawing circles on his chest.
Mo Yuhan tilted his head slightly down only to feel the woman licking his earlobe. Her hands were wrapped around his neck as she pressed her body against him, swaying slightly.
His fingers tucked inside his pocket twitched a little and when she moved a few steps back, his gaze lingered on her as he looked at her from head to toe.
Donned in a sleeveless and backless flowy crimson red gown with a long slit starting from her thigh, she was a sight that could knock all the men out with a single glance.
With those silver stilettos, her head reached his nose.
A silver mask rested on her face, bright hazel eyes glancing at him seductively while her long jet black hair tied in a dreamy braid. As she twirled around, her milky white back came into his view.
Those silver accessories dangling off her red-dress emphasized her hourglass figure. A choker diamond necklace enhancing the beauty of her swan-like neck.
As she took a step back, he snapped out of his daze. Before the woman could take another step away from him, he grabbed her waist before pulling her closer. With his other hand right above her hips, he hoisted her up in the air.
Tang Li raised her legs at a ninety-degree angle as he twirled her around. Her hands wrapped around her neck.
After putting her down, both his hands were wrapped around her waist while her hand rested on his shoulders.
The couple dancing under the spotlight was so ethereal that people found themselves in a daze as they looked at them.
Tang Li outshined all the women in the hall while Mo Yuhan was simply a regal existence. Despite his casual get-up, the man was a highlight in himself.
Dancing like a prince and princess, Mo Yuhan and Tang Li seemed to have blurred the whole background.
