The echoes of distant screams faded into the howling wind as General Viktor 'Bloodfang' Kruger led his elite squad through the ruins of the fallen city. His crimson beret cast a shadow over his cold, undead eyes, and in his gloved hand, he gripped his signature combat knife, its blade still slick with the blood of the last resistance fighters.
Beside him, Sergeant Darius "Hellhound" Rook marched forward, his heavily armored boots crunching over the shattered remains of what was once a vibrant metropolis. His modified shotgun was slung over his shoulder, ready to tear apart any human foolish enough to stand in their way.
"They're cornered, General," said Eva "Black Widow" Morales, her voice sharp and venomous. She crouched on the edge of a crumbling rooftop, her keen eyes scanning the distance. "The last human stronghold is just beyond that barricade."
Kruger smirked. "Then it's time to send them a message."
Behind him, Dr. Sylvia "Plague Mistress" Voss worked quickly, extracting a vial of her latest biological weapon. The green liquid pulsed as she injected it into a group of chained, snarling zombies. Their veins turned black, their bodies convulsing before standing unnaturally tall. Their strength had doubled. Their hunger had tripled.
"Release them," Voss whispered with a sick grin.
With a nod from Kruger, Baron "Grave Titan" Kane yanked the chains free, sending the monstrous creatures charging towards the barricade. The humans barely had time to react before the undead tore through their defenses, ripping limbs apart with horrifying efficiency. Gunfire erupted, but it was useless against the horde.
In the chaos, Reaper-77 moved like a specter of death, his cybernetic limbs slicing through soldiers with surgical precision. The last of the resistance screamed in terror as the hulking cyborg closed in.
Kruger strode through the battlefield with eerie calm, his combat knife flashing as he executed the survivors with brutal efficiency. Blood splattered against his uniform, but he didn't flinch. He lived for this.
Within minutes, the human stronghold was reduced to nothing but burning corpses and shattered walls. The last survivor, a trembling soldier, fell to his knees before Kruger.
"P-please… have mercy…" the man stammered.
Kruger kneeled, gripping the soldier's chin and forcing him to look into his soulless eyes. "Mercy?" He chuckled darkly. "Mercy died with your kind."
With one swift motion, he drove his blade deep into the man's throat, silencing his pleas forever.
Kruger stood, wiping the blood from his weapon. He turned to his squad, his voice cold and unwavering. "The world is ours. And this… is just the beginning."
As the fires raged behind them, the Undead Overlord and his army marched onward, leaving nothing but death and destruction in their wake.
