Throughout the night a husband and wife finally spent their long and sweet evening. Claudia was satisfied doing it with her husband even though she didn’t want time to pass very quickly. If time could stop, she wanted to spend more time with Harry.
Even though last night they were a real husband and wife, now in the morning, they were again acting as husband and wife who wanted to divorce. This is what makes Claudia uncomfortable facing her cold and arrogant husband again. The hot moments they spent last night, did Harry just think of it as a passing wind?
Claudia didn’t even think that Harry had asked Sarah to cook breakfast for them earlier. Claudia felt that Harry hated her again as before as if she was a pest in his life. What was Harry doing right now actually an act?
"Sarah, what time did you arrive at my house?"
"I actually-"
"Last night I contacted her to come to our house earlier than usual. There’s no way I can enjoy your cooking even though we’re going to divorce soon." Harry gave a sharp look that made Claudia swallow a little nervously.
Sarah also felt uncomfortable with the atmosphere of the husband and wife’s conversation which looked like they were in a cold war. Even though before they still looked comfortable with each other, now it was just a wall that blocked the cold wind from attacking each other.
"I see. So, you feel like my cooking makes you sick!" Claudia snapped while enjoying corn soup irritably.
Harry didn’t respond to his wife’s shouting. His eyes were fixed on Sarah. "Thank you for making delicious corn soup. Sorry for bothering you every morning."
Sarah looked down nervously. "No problem, Harry. It’s my duty to prepare breakfast for you every morning."
"When my wife and I were living apart, I relied on you, Sarah. I want you to protect her while I’m not by her side."
At first Claudia was annoyed with her husband for making a fuss so early in the morning, her heart melted again when she heard that her husband actually still cared about her and left a message to Sarah openly. However, on the one hand, Claudia really hated that Harry treated her as if she were his real enemy after they had done it all night out of passion.
"You are very cruel, Harry!"
Sarah slowly left the husband and wife in the dining room. Because she felt it was inappropriate to hear a debate that should be kept private for outsiders to hear.
Today Claudia returned to work as usual at the hotel. She was quite dizzy and confused when dealing with her husband between last night and this morning. Because her husband’s attitude was the opposite, as if what he did was just to entertain her. However, for now she doesn’t want to show her anxious side. Now she is determined to act professionally whenever she is at work, especially today she has business to complete outside the office.
Throughout the day, Claudia tried to act strong even though her heart was still sore from signing the divorce papers. When she said that one day she would get pregnant suddenly in the middle of their divorce, she wasn’t joking. She still hoped that Harry would return to her one day because he had to be responsible for looking after his child too.
Late in the afternoon, Claudia was finally able to return to the hotel quite calmly. When she just entered the main director’s room, she was greeted by the sudden arrival of Harris who barged into her room without prior permission. All day she had been in a bad mood, now it was getting worse because her ex-boyfriend was being rude again.
"Why did you come to me all of a sudden?" greeted Claudia as she took off her black blazer and then hung it on the hanger.
"Is it true that you are going to divorce Harry?"
Claudia rolled her eyes. "How did you know?"
Harris pounded the table roughly. "As I thought, Harry is a very bastard! He might divorce you after you’ve been married for six months!"
"Answer my question first! How did you know I wanted a divorce?"
Harris smiled a cynical smile as he touched his ex’s shoulder. "Did you forget I have many connections? Do you still remember Brian, one of my close friends? His father is the lawyer handling your divorce case! He accidentally saw your files on his father’s desk."
"Then, he told you everything."
"But, you don’t need to worry. Brian is not the type of man who likes to spread gossip. I will make sure that news of your divorce will not spread widely."
Claudia folded her arms. "Actually, what is the purpose of your sudden arrival after not greeting me for so long? I don’t like dealing with people who like to mince words."
"After you break up with your husband, how about we just get married?"
"What?! Are you crazy?"
"I’m not crazy, Claudia. I only made you aware because in the end you were just Harry’s puppet! Aren’t you tired of dealing with hypocritical men like him?"
"Then, what about you? Don’t you feel like you’re a hypocrite every time you face me? You always look cute even though you’re actually cheating behind my back. I’m sure you’re still dating Vivian now."
"No. I love you more, Claudia. I’m tired of dealing with women who only use me. Now I realize, I was wrong to side with a woman from the start."
"So, now you are very happy to hear the news of this divorce? Will you use this opportunity to start all over again with me?"
Harris snapped his fingers. "I knew you were a very intelligent woman, Claudia."

On the other hand, when Harry was communicating with Sarah by telephone, his gaze turned angry, he pounded the table so hard that Thomas almost tripped while carrying a pile of documents.
"How dare he propose to my wife in the middle of our divorce process!"
