HP: Alchemy? Nah, It's Crafting Chapter 349

Dumbledore gave the Weasley twins a meaningful look but said nothing. After lingering in the kitchen a while longer in search of food, he returned to his office, leaving the space to Kasenhis and the twins.

"Ahem. Next time you speak, use your brains first," Kasenhis said after a moment of silence.

"Got it, Professor."

"No problem, Professor."

"Then come with me to my office. Since you've already got the leisure to research an Instant Truancy Spell, I assume you've almost finished collecting the essentia?"

"Almost. So are we going to start making the Infusion Altar?" the Weasley twins asked.

"That's only the first step. You still have a long way to go," Kasenhis shook his head and directly Ender-teleported the twins back to his office.

"I specifically compiled a crafting guide for you. If you want to make anything, you can find the corresponding recipe in here." Kasenhis picked up two books from the desk and handed them to the twins.

"Thank you, Professor!"

"No need to thank me. Just get to work. All the materials needed for the Infusion Altar are marked inside. Start crafting directly. Whatever materials you need are in the chests over there." Kasenhis poured himself a cup of tea and took a sip.

The Weasley twins nodded, each placing down an Arcane Workbench and beginning their crafting.

Meanwhile, Kasenhis sat on the sofa, watching the twins grow more and more excited as they crafted. He had a strange feeling that their desire to study the arcane had already surpassed their enthusiasm for dropping out and making money.

"…Wait!"

A little glowing lightbulb seemed to pop above his head.

If the Weasley twins really got hooked on this mysterious field and ended up completely forgetting about dropping out to make money and buy a house… wouldn't that mean he'd led them astray?

You had to know that Diagon Alley's current property prices could be called a once-in-a-century opportunity. The last time prices had dropped so drastically was… fifteen years ago…

But it was still basically a once-in-a-century chance.

And if the twins got so absorbed in studying that they didn't buy a shop… in a way, wouldn't that be his fault?

Unfortunately, even if he wanted to sponsor them, they wouldn't accept it…

So he could just change the method. For example, he could go buy a shop in Diagon Alley first, and then when the twins finished their studies and suddenly realized that shop prices had already risen again, he could sell it to them cheaply…

I'm a genius!

"You two keep crafting here. I've got something to take care of. I'll be back soon." After leaving that sentence behind, Kasenhis directly Ender-teleported to Diagon Alley.

At night, there weren't many people in Diagon Alley. Most of the shops had signs hanging outside, advertising for rent, transfer, or sale.

Kasenhis stood in the middle of the street and looked around casually. In the end, he picked a shop in the best location, with a "For Sale" sign hanging outside, and walked in.

"Hello, boss. How much for this shop?" Kasenhis asked directly as he entered.

"Only twelve hundred Galleons, and we can—" Before the shop owner could finish saying that the price was negotiable, a large bag of Galleons suddenly appeared on the counter.

"Check it," Kasenhis said.

"Oh… oh, alright." The owner stiffly used magic to count the Galleons, then mechanically took out a magical contract.

Kasenhis pulled out a pen and signed his name on it.

The magical contract took effect. From that moment on, the shop belonged to Kasenhis.

"You can continue doing business here. Just pay one Galleon in rent each month. But when I need it, I'll let you know, and you'll have to move out," Kasenhis said.

"No, no, no. Our family can't stay in England for even another day. We've already packed our things. We're leaving right now." The owner hurried upstairs, and together with his wife and child, grabbed a Ministry-registered Portkey.

"Oh, right. All the goods in this shop belong to you as well. Farewell—and may You-Know-Who never find you." As soon as the owner finished speaking, the family of three suddenly vanished.

"Oh, if he doesn't come looking for me, I'll have to go find him instead," Kasenhis muttered, then Ender-teleported back to his office.

After returning to the office, he looked at the Weasley twins again. By now, they had already crafted everything they needed, and were staring at the pile of small cube-like blocks in front of them, lost in thought.

"Can these things really be assembled into something that big?" the twins asked.

"Why not?" Kasenhis casually picked up a small block and, with a soft pop, placed it on the ground. Instantly, the tiny block turned into a massive one-cubic-meter cube.

Then he picked it up again, and it immediately shrank back into a small, toy-like block.

"That's how it works. Now go build your own Infusion Altar. I remember there's a blueprint in your crafting guide." Kasenhis sat back on the sofa, leisurely watching as the twins, like two little Steves, began stacking block after block, constructing a large, dark platform.

When they reached the four corners of the Infusion Altar… they ran into a problem.

"This thing's too tall, Professor. Do you have something like scaffolding?" George asked, glancing between the blueprint and Kasenhis.

The latter rubbed his chin. As for scaffolding, he did have some.

But using that would be way too troublesome.

So he decided to show the twins something a bit more hardcore.

He casually took out a block, then jumped upward. With a thud, the block was placed beneath him, and he landed smoothly on top of it.

"Holy—this is awesome! This is awesome!" George got instantly hyped at the sight. He gathered his strength, jumped upward, and with a thud placed a block beneath his feet.

The next moment, Kasenhis and Fred heard a horrifying clipping sound.

The block was indeed placed…

Um…

George also fell down…

Because just now, the block had briefly clipped through his legs…

Creating a very… considerable… injury…

"Holy…" Kasenhis stared at the scene with a stiff expression, muttering silently…
