HP: Alchemy? Nah, It's Crafting Chapter 354

Kasen left the office with Professor McGonagall.

The former headed straight toward Dumbledore's office with quick, thudding steps, while the latter carried her textbooks off to teach the young witches and wizards.

Before long, Kasen arrived at the door to Dumbledore's office. Just listening to the sounds inside, he didn't even need to look to know who was there.

"Dumbledore… perfect, Grindelwald's here too. Professor McGonagall asked me to come ask you something." Kasen, who never had the habit of knocking, pushed the door open and walked in without the slightest hesitation.

"I've already told him—I won't let him teach the Unforgivable Curses to the students anymore." Seeing Kasen barge in, Dumbledore didn't even need to think to guess what he was here for and quickly answered.

Kasen shook his head. "No, no… Professor McGonagall wants to know whether you knew about this beforehand."

Dumbledore raised an eyebrow. "Hmm… why would she want you to ask that?"

"No idea… maybe she wants an excuse to charge in, smash your office to pieces, and then walk out like nothing happened," Kasen said casually.

Dumbledore had just been about to say that he'd only found out himself not long ago, but his clever mind quickly started turning.

Office smashed = office renovation.

That's a good thing.

"I did know beforehand, but didn't interfere… well… I thought he had a sense of restraint," Dumbledore said outright, deliberately choosing the kind of answer that would annoy Professor McGonagall the most—something that would make her storm into his office and wreck the place.

Pure rebellion.

Grindelwald, who had been sitting on the sofa, raised an eyebrow.

Hadn't he always kept this from Dumbledore? When did the man find out?

Or could it be that there were still surveillance methods or contingencies within Hogwarts that he hadn't discovered yet?

"Sss… the more you think about it, the more terrifying it gets…"

Kasen pulled out his little notebook and diligently wrote down everything Dumbledore had said. Once class ended later, he planned to take this notebook straight to Professor McGonagall and file a complaint.

As they say, when people are doing something bad, they're never afraid of hardship or fatigue—and Kasen embodied this perfectly.

During the hour-long Transfiguration class, he sat on a small stool at the back of the classroom for a full forty minutes, just waiting for the exact moment Professor McGonagall dismissed class so he could dash forward at record speed and hand over Dumbledore's "evidence."

Unexpectedly, after reading the so-called evidence, Professor McGonagall didn't say a single word. She simply picked up her wand and headed toward the Headmaster's office alone.

Meanwhile, Kasen sat in his large office, basking in the moonlight by the floor-to-ceiling window, and witnessed the entire process of Dumbledore's Headmaster Tower being blasted straight off the castle and onto the lawn below.

Fortunately, it was already past curfew at that time, and with Voldemort's return, Hogwarts' curfew enforcement was stricter than ever.

In simple terms…

Not a single student was injured in the tower demolition incident.

Eh… but did that old wizard count?

Kasen suddenly found himself curious about that question.

After thinking it over, he decided it probably didn't.

After all, Dumbledore had his phoenix, Fawkes—no matter what, he could just Apparate away.

Sure enough, just as Kasen stood up, he saw Dumbledore in the distance, slowly rowing over in a small boat.

"What's wrong?" Kasen asked, puzzled.

"Cough, cough…" Dumbledore sighed helplessly. "I have nowhere to stay."

"Then go find Grindelwald," Kasen replied.

"He won't let me," Dumbledore said, looking rather aggrieved.

"…Are you okay with sleeping on the floor?" Kasen asked stiffly.

"It's not impossible," Dumbledore raised an eyebrow and said.

"Then the floor it is." Kasen nodded, tossed him a set of bedding, and went upstairs to sleep without another word.

Dumbledore stood there, holding the bedding, his face full of confusion, question marks practically popping up over his head.

He… didn't even have the right to go upstairs anymore?

He stood there for a good five minutes before finally accepting that Kasen really was a cold, unfeeling person. Resigned, he piled the blankets onto the sofa, made himself a sort of human dog bed, and crawled inside.

The next day…

Kasen, still half-asleep, walked down from the bedroom and saw Dumbledore in his pajamas and nightcap, curled up on the sofa, eating breakfast…

"Did you dirty my sofa?" Kasen's first sentence carried not a trace of warmth, leaving Dumbledore quietly depressed for quite a while.

"I brought that for you," Dumbledore said, pointing to another portion on the coffee table.

"Oh, thanks. I thought you were having two breakfasts this morning!" Kasen's expression flipped instantly. He grabbed the sandwich, sat down beside Dumbledore with a friendly smile, and started devouring it at whirlwind speed, stuffing food into his mouth like a machine.

"Slow down. No one's going to steal it from you." Dumbledore calmly pushed a cup of black tea toward him.

"Hmm, didn't expect this—you're actually quite kind," Kasen said while eating.

"By the way, could you help me with something later? Considering I even brought you breakfast." Dumbledore spoke casually as he ate, as if he were mentioning something trivial.

"Mm, what is it?" Kasen replied, still eating.

"Could you help me repair the tower?" Dumbledore asked leisurely.

"Hm? What tower?" Kasen asked, puzzled.

Dumbledore looked at him, speechless. "I brought you breakfast."

Kasen stuffed the last bit of sandwich into his mouth, washed it down with tea, and let out a long sigh of satisfaction. "What breakfast?"

"…"

"…"

"I'm really fucking done with you!" Dumbledore took a deep breath and said super.. super calmly..
