"You’re free to move around in this office from now on." Kris Cooper glanced at the fish food in her hand. "These fish are now your responsibility!"
He knew without a doubt that this office held her fond memories with her father. He suddenly realized his impromptu decision seemed like a good idea.
"Okay!" Vera nodded immediately.
These fish held so many memories; they were also something her father had left behind. Being able to look after them would be a great comfort to her.
