Lin City, at the edge of Zhiyang Lake.
Fu Xinkun got up from a pile of corpses in an embarrassed manner, looking down at his body excitedly, he could feel an immense strength within him!
"Hahaha! A blessing in disguise, hahaha, gods! You certainly aren’t harsh on me!"
He laughed heartily skyward. The wounds that he had previously been inflicted with by the zombies have healed. What did that imply? It meant that he hadn’t been infected by the zombies, and he had even gained this powerful force!
"Tch, a bunch of trash!"
Looking at the pile of bodies, Fu Xinkun spat out in disgust. Afterward, he took in the scenic view of Zhiyang Lake and felt in excellent spirits. He had acquired a superpower; it was a day worth celebrating!
He touched his face, feeling the dried blood of others that had solidified making it sticky. It felt as if a layer of skin had peeled off his face, so he hurriedly went to the lakeside to wash it.
The cool lake water caressed his skin, giving him a comfortable sensation. Fu Xinkun closed his eyes and started to enjoy, but he never saw the gigantic dark shadow emerging from underneath the waters!
A sense of unease surged in Fu Xinkun’s heart, as if a terrifying beast was staring at him. Opening his eyes, he swiftly looked behind him but found nothing. The moment he looked back, his eyes widened in shock!
"Drag... Dragon! Aaaaaaah!"
With Fu Xinkun’s agonizing scream, the enormous shadow withdrew back into the water. Peace returned to Zhiyang Lake, devoid of any living creatures...
The brilliant sunshine shone on the wrecked city. On the balcony, Tang Ye raised Little Nannan to meet the sun. She was delighted and cute, waving her tiny legs excitedly, grasping a bottle filled with cold water-soaked milk powder. She suckled on the nipple while reaching out to touch Tang Ye’s hair.
"Hehe, you little thing, I’m going to eat you sooner or later."
Tang Ye joked with a terrifying grimace which accentuated his zombie nature. After all, since when did zombies have a beautiful smile?
Nannan chuckled, seemingly not scared by what Tang Ye said. In the end, she even offered the milk bottle to him, appearing to want to feed Tang Ye.
Tang Ye’s face darkened, not knowing whether it was out of annoyance or not. He playfully spun her around before gently settling her into a chair.
About ten days ago, Tang Ye had looted an entire baby products store, not even sparing a baby swimming ring from the top!
With Little Nannan’s food and drink sorted, shrewd Tang Ye made sure he didn’t shortchange himself. He slaughtered most of the zombies below, using them as an energy supplement for his body.
Jingyang Road was covered with decapitated zombie bodies. Ahead, a colossal figure was constantly tossing helpless zombies into his mouth. However, he merely bit off their heads and discarded the rest of their bodies!
This figure was Ah Fu. Tang Ye, not wanting Ah Fu to go hungry, had ordered him to go eat some zombie brains from outside. But he never instructed Ah Fu not to eat humans; hence, it couldn’t be blamed on Tang Ye if unlucky survivors encountered Ah Fu.
Ah Fu’s brutal figures were a terrifying sight on the streets. Survivors stuck their heads out from windows in the surrounding buildings, eyes filled with fear. Just the sight of this giant figure was enough to frighten anyone!
As for why Ah Fu would attack its own kind, these survivors couldn’t figure it out no matter how hard they tried!
Ah Fu’s body returned to its original state, no longer the hulking fat figure from before, but a muscular man. Tang Ye couldn’t stand Ah Fu in his fat form despite not being finicky himself. The constant drooling from Ah Fu’s mouth was overly disgusting, and Tang Ye had absolutely no intention of getting close to it!
Moreover, Ah Fu’s saliva was corrosive. Even Tang Ye’s arm made of spikes was corroded, leaving a massive hole!
Ah Fu emitted a scream of excitement, evidently thrilled at the discovery that its kind could also serve as food. Any zombie that crossed its path met a gruesome end, several Level 1 zombies fell at its hands.
Ah Fu brutally cast aside the body of the zombie after having bitten off its head. Then it reached towards an ordinary zombie that was trying to make way for it, like a claw-machine game!

Atop an office building, a woman in her twenties screamed in fear after seeing Ah Fu’s terrifying stature, only to have her mouth quickly covered by a man!
"F*ck! It’s coming over here!"
A few more survivors appeared behind the man on the office building rooftop. On sighting Ah Fu’s terrifying figure, a chill ran down their spines!
"F*cking hell, you damn b*tch!"
The man who was covering the woman’s mouth became angry all of a sudden, throwing her to the ground and kicking her several times!
Ah Fu’s gaze was fixated on the survivors on the office building. In Ah Fu’s opinion, human flesh was far more delicious compared to zombie brains!
It quickened its pace towards the office building, scaring the survivors back. Then, not long after, the woman who had screamed previously fell from the building, landing right in front of Ah Fu!
Her body was horribly disfigured from the impact of the fall, but she was still alive because it wasn’t a high fall. However, she was now faced with an even greater despair!
It was clear that she had been pushed down by the angry survivors from above!
"No! Don’t come here, aah! It hurts so much, Brother Yang, please save me, I’m really scared, sob sob, it hurts so much, it’s killing me...."
Multiple fractures left the woman unable to stand. She could only watch in terror as an excited Ah Fu approached her!
Her body was lifted up by the enormous Ah Fu. As it slowly fed her into its mouth, the woman let out one last scream before all fell silent. But after consuming her, was Ah Fu going to be satisfied? Instead, he continued, walking towards the entrance of the office building!
Its figure, resembling an ancient beast, made all survivors in the office building shiver in fear!
Just as Ah Fu reached the entrance, the sky suddenly vibrated with the sounds of countless helicopters!
Ah Fu turned to look towards the horizon and saw a line of helicopters heading his way. Numerous leaflets were released from the bottom of these helicopters!
On one of the helicopters, a man wearing casual clothes eyed Ah Fu’s gigantic figure and said, "Hey, look, is that a Level 2 zombie?"
"With a body that huge, it certainly is!"
"Damn, what the hell has it evolved into?"
"Ready the weapons, we’ll take down that zombie first, and then go down to retrieve the evolution crystal!"
