"That’s not a human, it’s a zombie!"
"Why is it standing on top of that other zombie? What level is it?"
"Fall back! Retreat!"
"Why didn’t the zombie attack anyone else, and just came towards us?"
"I just want to know what level it is!"
"Could it be the Zombie King?"
"The Zombie King...maybe."
Voices of surprise poured out from everyone, looking at Tang Ye with disbelief, especially the multiple tentacles behind him, his identity as a zombie had been completely exposed.
Withdrawing his tentacles, Tang Ye looked at the small claws on the tentacles’ ends. They were charred by the heat generated from the explosion, revealing his thoughts involuntarily.
Just then, he suddenly felt intense movements in the sky next to him. Tang Ye instinctively looked over, only to see a spiked triangular missile carrying several bullets rushing towards him.
In the nick of time, Tang Ye swiftly controlled the flesh on his body. The flesh on his left arm and chest instantly separated, forming purple-black flesh flaps that began to wrap around his waist. He couldn’t cover his head in time, and with a "boom", even evolved into Level 4 zombie Tang Ye was not as stable as Ah Fu due to his huge body. He was directly lifted by the impact of the explosion and hit a nearby wall.
"That’s impossible, right?"
Looking at the dust on the other side, the soldiers looked at each other. If the zombie died just like that, it would be better. But reality always disappoints them.
About three or four seconds later, a zombie howl as if it could shatter the sky resounded. Flesh flaps several meters wide and dozens of meters long surged from where Tang Ye was flung, wildly lashing out at the group of soldiers.
The soldiers were shocked, those non-commissioned officers, seeing those flesh flaps like Hezi from some anime, shouted and distanced themselves first. This shocking scene left no one doubting the level of Tang Ye’s zombie state!
It has to be at least a Level 3 zombie, or even a Level 4 zombie!
They remembered what those idiotic experts said a few months ago, after research, they claimed that zombies can only evolve to Level 2. What are they seeing now?
Those scary fleshy flaps of Tang Ye squirmed on the ground like pythons, leaving a mess wherever they went. Whether it was other zombies, survivors, or even the building standing aside, all were made a mess!
His furious roar continued. A pale hand slapped some broken bodies away, and Tang Ye, whose upper body was bare, climbed out. The mask and clothes he just got were once again torn into shreds, making him even more furious!
With his pale eyes coldly assessing the surrounding environment. Tang Ye, having eight flesh flaps behind his back, was particularly furious at the sight of people in military uniforms holding guns. He was ruthless in every attack, turning people into a pile of mash in no time!
Swifty shaking his head, Tang Ye stood up straight with a bear-like sturdy body, and strode forward. Seeing the master being beaten to fly, Ah Fu also stepped forward, waving his huge palm, attacking the surviving humans or other zombies on the ground. It looked like he was taking revenge for Tang Ye.
"I’m not leaving, I’m going to kill all you bastards today!"
With a hoarse voice, Tang Ye uttered each word. It seemed that he was speaking to someone specifically, yet it seemed like he was talking to himself. He originally didn’t want to cause murder. He was hoping these people would self-destruct but these people had to provoke him, causing the volcano in his heart to explode!
No one knew the frustration in his heart, after becoming a zombie, his temper was very bad, always suppressing himself not to cause trouble.
Tang Ye was not in a hurry to leave the Yindan Base, he was slowly walking on the street. Whenever he saw a man in a military uniform holding a gun, he killed him. And those unarmed or weaponless soldiers, he chose to let them go and did not do anything to them.
Just as Tang Ye was looking for the figures of the soldiers, a large number of soldiers suddenly appeared on the street nearby. After their warning calls, Tang Ye hastily turned his head and his body darted towards them.
Commanding Ah Fu to leave the base first, Tang Ye swung the eight flesh flaps on his back, slammed them into the ground, his body soaring into the sky, and then began to kill the group of soldiers, sending them into retreat!
Gritting his triangular teeth, he whipped one of the flesh flaps, causing the soldier in front to explode into flesh and blood, and the other flaps attached to the side of the building. Then with force, a twenty-story high-rise building was pulled down by Tang Ye’s immense strength!
Tang Ye turned into a shadow, instantly shifting to one side, cold eyes watching the shadow of the much taller building enveloping the soldiers.
In a few breaths, killing dozens of soldiers, Tang Ye stuck a flesh flap into the other side of the ruins of the building. His body hitched on the flap , moved across, and attacked the remaining soldiers who were still attacking zombies!
"Little girl, don’t cry. Big brother will take you to find your mom now."
The new-human soldier holding the little girl ran with the crowd. The little girl, who was being held, nodded her head amidst her tearful eyes, and she stopped crying.
The sky was oppressively dreadful, with the clouds moving in and out, the afterglow of the setting sun was covered and appeared several times.
The dark clouds were thin, and the light of twilight could still penetrate and shoot onto the ground. The skies were an odd mixture, blood-red on the periphery yet gloomy and dark in the centre.
The new-human soldier squeezed past one survivor after another and suddenly felt the crowd halt. He saw that three or four dozens of meters long flesh flaps were waving in the air not too far away. But soon they were gone. The sound of guns continued, and the cries of despair from the soldiers could be heard.
"It’s not good! Quickly retreat!"
The new-human holding the little girl was taken aback and was staggered by a person running back from the front. He almost lost his balance. After stabilizing his body, he freed one hand to pull at a panicking survivor and asked, "What happened up front? Why is everyone running backward?"
"Let go of me! If you want to go ahead, go by yourself! Don’t pull me!"
The survivor was startled by this sudden stranger and desperately tried to pull his hand away, but couldn’t.
"Answer my question!"
Seeing the young man in special military uniform who was holding onto him, the survivor suddenly realized that he was a new human.
"My lord... I beg you, please let me go. There’s a Level 3 evolution zombie up ahead. Many soldiers up there have been killed, and the bullets couldn’t even penetrate its skin. Did you see that tentacle just now? It moved and... it overturned the ground!"
