This person was none other than Xu Haishui!

Xu Haishui had blocked their path with a horde of zombies! There were over a hundred evolved zombies, six of them were Level 3. The number of Level 1 and Level 2 zombies was countless!
The sole Level 3 new human in the crowd of survivors paused, halting his escape. The others followed suit, turning their attention to Tang Ye on the wall, munching away.
The air fell silent. It seemed Tang Ye had satiated his hunger; he put down his chopsticks and wiped his mouth with a napkin beside him. His gaze fell on the crowd again, his eyes flashing with a deep, crimson bloodlust.
"Run? Where will you run to? Today, none of you will leave this place!"
The moment these words were spoken, a shiver of fear flashed through all their eyes as they looked in disbelief at the Shiwuguan Base survivors who had surrounded them.
The Level 3 new human faced Tang Ye, his face gloomy but his eyes devoid of the desperation of someone who had no escape.
Tang Ye sneered and responded, "What do I want? This world doesn’t work the way where you can just slap someone and walk away without consequences. You’ve caused so much trouble, don’t you think it’s time to pay the price?"
The Level 3 new human said nothing, unsure of what Tang Ye meant by his statement.
Tang Ye, however, had no intention of playing dumb. He continued, "You guys are from the Crown City Federation. Heh... What a high-end name, Federation. Do you think that because this is the Apocalypse, no one can touch you?"
"Today, you only have two choices. The first, join us and become a sword in my hand. The second..."
Tang Ye paused, his gaze filled with mockery. After a moment, he spat out the word.
After the last word was spoken, the sole Level 3 new human grimaced with rage but said nothing; his eyes fixed on Tang Ye. The rest of the people, however, immediately broke into an uproar.
"I won’t choose. Who the hell do you think you are?"
"Exactly, just because you got some people under your thumb doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want!"
"You’re full of yourself! Just because you’re a new human, you think you’re so great!"
Some people were furious, but many more were eager, drooling at the sight of the cabbages inside.
Tang Ye dismissed this, laughing in his heart. It seemed like these higher-evolved beings lived outside the understanding of ordinary people. Listening to their clamor, he found these ordinary people utterly foolish.
Don’t forget, this is the Apocalypse. Sure, there’s safety in numbers. It’s also true that you can’t murder every one of these thousand odd people.
But when you evolve to a higher level, you focus on the most critical matters. Right now, this is the time of the Apocalypse!

Xu Haishui roared huskily. The zombie horde behind him growled in unison, emitting a nauseating stench that left countless people ashen-faced.
