Bai Zhi’s eyelids were heavy, and she couldn’t help but want to close her eyes.
"Xingxing, what’s wrong? Tell Mommy, what’s wrong?"
Ye Xiu forcefully spoke out, and her hoarse voice finally grew louder.
The teachers accompanying her were all stunned. It was Ye Xiu’s daughter?
They all knew Ye Xiu had a family with sons and daughters, yet she devoted herself entirely to the school, always treating the students exceptionally well no matter the circumstances.

At that moment, a nurse came over to do a skin test on Xianxian.

Ye Xiu held onto Bai Zhi’s hand tightly, unwilling to let go, telling herself she would never let go of her daughter’s hand again.
"Aren’t Teacher Niu and I here with you? Be brave for me."
The other two teachers stayed with the student.
"Okay, I’ll be brave."
Xianxian nodded vigorously. He was brave; he was not afraid.
"Alright, I’ll come back and check the result after half an hour. Are you Bai Zhi’s mother? Then you should rush to find the doctor; your daughter needs surgery and requires your signature."
The nurse, having performed the skin test, spoke with a hint of urgency in her tone. They all knew that needle was a major hazard; if not addressed soon, the girl could end up paralyzed.
Such a small, well-behaved girl, they would obediently call her auntie.
Ye Xiu suddenly stood up, her whole body swaying a bit, nearly collapsing to the ground.

Wu Wa, supporting Ye Xiu, looked politely at the nurse.
Bai Zhi felt somewhat helpless. She was capable herself; why did Wu Wa treat her like a doll? She could go up the mountains and down the rivers just fine.
