“How do you plan to make him spit out what he’s swallowed?” Huo Yanzhao asked curiously.

Huo Yanzhao instantly inhaled sharply, clutching his chest as he said, “That’s too cruel! Did you come up with a plan the moment you saw Xia Xinyu’s suicide??”
He Jingyao sipped his red wine, smiling slightly: “It wasn’t that exaggerated.”
Huo Yanzhao let out a sigh of relief.
“I’ve had the plan for a long time, Xia Xinyu’s suicide just gave me the right opportunity,” said He Jingyao indifferently.
Huo Yanzhao sucked in breath again and hissed, “That’s even more sick! I’m starting to feel sympathy for that old thing Xia Bangguo. After all the underhanded and damaging tactics he used to build his empire over the years… tsk, tsk.”
“Oh? By that, do you mean you’re no longer interested in the Xia’s shares?” He Jingyao looked at him, his eyes mocking.
Huo Yanzhao’s expression turned serious: “Are you planning to give your brother a portion of the shares?”

“Sympathize with what! How many people has Xia Bangguo driven to bankruptcy over the years? I must get involved!” Huo Yanzhao’s face suddenly filled with righteousness. “Speaking of which, Yun Xuefei and I are planning to have children. As he spoke, Huo Yanzhao’s smile turned suggestive.

“Shut up,” He Jingyao interrupted him coldly.
Considering the future baby’s milk powder money, Huo Yanzhao wisely stopped provoking him. He just twitched the corners of his mouth slightly, struggling to hold back his laughter.
After listening to the story of Yun Xuefei and Huo Yanzhao, Su Zixi left satisfied.
The lunch dishes were very homey, yet they were so delicious one almost swallowed their tongue. When Su Zixi went to find He Jingyao in the adjoining private room, she was still savoring the taste of a clear soup with cabbage cooked with a variety of seafood.
Inside the room, however, the atmosphere between He Jingyao and Huo Yanzhao was tense, with He Jingyao sporting a grim face as he stared coldly at Huo Yanzhao. Although Huo Yanzhao appeared serious, his mouth was twitching slightly, giving him a strange expression.
Su Zixi blinked her eyes and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, let’s go,” He Jingyao said, his expression softening as he saw her. He walked over to Su Zixi, wrapped his arm around her waist, and quickly led her out of the private room.
Su Zixi had not even managed to greet Huo Yanzhao when they left the room, but behind them came the sound of Huo Yanzhao’s hearty laughter.
