“Miss Xia, I am Feng Qian.” The man in the lead spoke, “Don’t be scared, we are unarmed. Mr. He Jingyao and your father, Mr. Xia Bangguo, are both outside. Mr. Xia would like to speak to you.”
As he spoke, he turned his phone’s speaker mode on and cranked the volume to the maximum.
“Xinyu, Xinyu, did you really kidnap people from the He Family? Stop messing around, please! Mr. He has said that if you release them now, he can pretend nothing ever happened!” Xia Bangguo’s voice was both anxious and urgent.
Xia Xinyu clenched her lips tightly, saying nothing.

“He Jingyao sure acts quickly,” Xia Xinyu said somberly. “I’ve done everything I can to erase all traces, yet he still found us so quickly—and he’s even kidnapped my father.”
