The man, as if bathed in the morning light, slowly walked towards her.
Zhixi felt her heart begin to race. She knew she should turn around and leave immediately, pretending she hadn’t seen him, but despite her best efforts, she couldn’t move a step.
Thus, she could only watch helplessly as the man came to a stop in front of her.
Dressed in a crisp suit, he appeared even more slender and upright, his handsome features accentuated, a profound charm coming over her that was almost unbearable.
Compared to four years ago, the man’s demeanor had become calm and restrained. His eyes, always hinting at a smile, were now inscrutable and bottomless.
Zhixi’s nose tingled, and she instinctively avoided his gaze, struggling to keep her voice steady, "You are..."

The man said nothing, but pressed his lips together, gazing deeply at her.

He Jingyao chuckled again, his voice tinged with a hint of ambiguity, "Miss Gu speaking , I might misunderstand."
