Zhixi’s face turned a bright red and she glared fiercely at her own son!
“…Children don’t know any better, spouting nonsense. You don’t take it to heart.” She attempted to explain, her face still burning hot.
“I wasn’t talking nonsense at all.” Xiaobao hummed unhappily, “Mom, don’t you want the three of us to live together?”
Zhixi was left speechless.
“…What time is it now? You should go to sleep!” Full of frustration, she took it out on her son, “Hurry up, or you won’t get any snacks tomorrow!”
The little guy pouted unhappily.
He Jingyao glanced at a certain woman annoyed and embarrassed, then put Xiaobao into the bed: “You sleep tight. Daddy promises to follow through with what he said, okay?”
That finally made him happy, and he nodded obediently, extending his little finger: “Pinky promise.”
He Jingyao went through the motion of locking fingers with him, then tucked him in properly.
The little guy, still quite young, quickly fell into a deep, even-breathed sleep after closing his eyes.
He Jingyao looked down at him for a while before standing up and turning to Zhixi: “Let’s go outside.”
Back in the living room, the heat had not yet faded completely from Zhixi’s face.
She pursed her lips, deciding to strike first: “Xiaobao is asleep now… I’ll see you out.”
He Jingyao looked down at her, then suddenly smiled: “Don’t you think of me a hundred times every day? Why are you so eager to see me off now?”
“I do not!” She was flustered and annoyed, “How can you take a child’s word seriously!”
“Heh…” He chuckled softly, then suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist and with a slight force, pushed her onto the sofa and fell on top of her, “But I take it seriously.”
Zhixi’s eyes widened in surprise, seemingly unprepared for this situation.
Her body was firmly pinned by the man, unable to move, the familiar scent overwhelmingly enveloping her. Every breath was filled with his essence.
Her heart started to race, and her voice stuttered: “He Jingyao, you, you…”
“Shh…” He captured her hands and bent down to seal her lips.
First, he meticulously and seductively traced the shape of her lips; then he pried open her teeth, sweeping and plundering inside with unrestrained passion.
Zhixi felt as if her soul was being sucked out by this man!
Her breaths grew shorter, and she struggled weakly, but it was utterly futile.
Then, he lifted her hands over her head, securing them with one hand, while the other quickly found its way under her skirt, the scorching heat sending shivers across her skin.
Zhixi let out an involuntary hoarse moan from her throat, like a cat begging for more affection.
He Jingyao then released her, but not without giving her lips a deep, lingering suck.
“Is this what you were anticipating, hmm?” His voice was hoarse, his breath slightly disordered, yet teasingly genuine, “All night long, you’ve been waiting for me to do this, haven’t you?”
Zhixi, utterly disheveled from his kisses, instinctively wanted to argue upon hearing this, but as soon as she opened her mouth, he silenced her again.
“Is it not?” He finally let her go, only to question her again.
Zhixi trembled as she opened her mouth to speak, but before she could, his burning kiss covered hers once more.
