Zhixi felt a rush of irritation and glared at him furiously.
He Jingyao raised an eyebrow, picked her up, carried her back to the room, and then threw her onto the bed.
She thought he was going to do something to her, but the man just covered her with a quilt and then left her with a cold “Go to sleep quickly.”
After saying that, he turned to leave.
“Wait a minute!” Zhixi grabbed his hand, suddenly reluctant, “How is Qixi doing?”
He Jingyao looked down at her and said indifferently, “She’s fine. You don’t have to worry.”
