Xiaobao looked wronged: "I haven’t kissed mom yet."
"I’ll do it for you." He Jingyao responded naturally.
Xiaobao’s eyes widened in shock, apparently not expecting his dad to be so shameless.

With that, he stomped back to his room!
Zhixi felt both annoyed and amused.
He Jingyao showed no sense of guilt for teasing their son; he sat beside Zhixi, hugging her from behind, and then pressed his fingertip to the small shadow on the back of her neck.
"How is it now?" she asked softly.
He Jingyao frowned slightly, a hint of confusion in his voice: "It seems to have gotten smaller."
"... Could it actually dissolve?" Zhixi’s face was full of wonder.
