Dai Quan’s face broke into a smile, so there really was one. Thinking about how He Jiaju had just said there wasn’t any, it was obvious he had deliberately not wanted him to have a good time. Served him right to die.
Quickly, he had someone call the girl out for him, but when he saw the girl that was called out.
With gritted teeth and a hand rubbing his head, Dai Quan only felt a heavy sense of dizziness.

With He Jiaju’s death, they had just taken over this base, which served as a brief resting spot. Once they were ready, they would leave this place and continue to look around elsewhere.
In the hall, Dai Quan looked at the "Zombie Album" that these guys had handed over.
He flipped through it casually.
When he saw the various abilities, Dai Quan was amazed.

Sitting with his legs crossed, Dai Quan leisurely continued to flip through the album, seeing the different kinds of zombies, his expression growing more solemn.
"Such terrifying zombies. If we were to encounter them, we probably wouldn’t even have a chance to resist."
The more he looked, the more frightened he became.
Although they knew of the dangers of the apocalypse, they had rarely ventured into the cities, missing many of the Evolutionary Zombies. The introductions in the album now deeply alarmed him.
"What are you looking at so intently?"
Dai Quan replied, "This thing’s got some substance. It records the situation of the zombies in the apocalypse, as well as our abilities. It turns out that people with abilities are called Awakeners."
"Oh, then keep looking. Let me have a look when you’re done."
Dai Quan continued flipping through.
Gradually, he came across that photo in the "Zombie Album."
It was Lin Fan’s selfie.
The young man carrying a sword.

For him, looking at things always came with criticism.

A head-on confrontation was definitely out of the question.
However, he could totally pose as a wretched survivor and stay at the Sunshine Shelter.
He truly felt like going.
As for this shelter, it really wasn’t interesting at all, a complete waste of time. It didn’t even have any women; what a joke.
The massive flesh mass, the Corpse God, let out an angry roar. As it raged, the entire building seemed to tremble, its flesh, which had begun to cover iron and cement, swelled slightly, emitting steaming vapors.
The Corpse God truly hadn’t expected the human it had chosen to be killed, cutting off the connection completely.
Four human Awakeners, quite a fine meal indeed.
The Corpse God already had plans, and a will-laden voice spread out.
A mature, hybrid Evolutionary Zombie appeared before the Corpse God, and after receiving its orders, the zombie let out a deep roar and turned to leave.
When it was deep at night and all was quiet.
A long-limbed, pale, white zombie moved silently under the moonlight to the base, disturbing no one and biting no living person, everything appearing so normal.
No one took any notice.
If anything was lacking in that base.
It was only the absence of four formidable Awakeners.
Dai Quan was very confused, looking around at the unfamiliar environment, so shocked that he snapped back to reality, seeing his three companions by his side.
"Wake up, wake up..."
He was a bit nervous inside.
He was sure they were in the base just a moment ago; how did they suddenly end up here?
As he shouted, the other three survivors opened their eyes, and like Dai Quan, when they saw the unfamiliar environment, their first reaction was that trouble was brewing.
Whatever it was that had brought them here silently was certainly beyond their imagination.
"Who is it, who is it? Quit playing tricks, if you have the guts, show yourself!"
Dai Quan roared angrily, his appearance fiercely menacing. In the apocalypse, you had to show how vicious you were; otherwise, no one would be scared.
Flames blazed, the fuel being a strange zombie that had no limbs, only a body and peculiar liquid that seemed to aid combustion, like a human using gasoline.
This was a burn-producing zombie created from corpses, much like people use gasoline.
