Liu Pingping could hardly believe what she was seeing.
On second thought, it wasn’t all that surprising.
Back when Su Qingyan was just a primary schooler, she had always clung to Li Mo, practically glued to his side, never wanting to leave him.
So it made sense for her to be close to him even now.

She knew exactly how her mom used to feel about Li Mo.
On the surface, both her mom and sister had treated him politely,
But that was just manners.

Her mom was treating him so well.

“Mom, why are you being so nice to him?”

“Qingyan, come with me for a bit.”

“Mom, your room is so pretty.”

Hearing her daughter’s praise, Liu Pingping thought back to what Li Mo had done for her.
Her heart warmed again, and her tone softened quite a bit.
“Are you dating someone at university?”

“Don’t you know that college relationships are extremely unreliable?”

“In college, people don’t have enough life experience.
They don’t know what the real world is like.”

“He’s accomplished, respectful to elders, and well-off.

We haven’t done anything inappropriate before marriage!”
Su Qingyan made a serious promise.
That did ease Liu Pingping’s worries somewhat.
“I’m really glad you remember that, sweetheart.”
“A girl’s body is precious.”
“No matter what, you must save yourself for after marriage.”
“That’s how you respect both your husband and yourself.”
“But… I still don’t agree with you dating right now.”
“You should break up.”
She still wasn’t on board with Su Qingyan being in a relationship.
Dating in college, to her, was a waste of time—
A distraction during the most valuable years.

The pressure was unreal.
But right now, it was better to go along with it and stall.
