I smile a little at my father and say.
"You did not need to do that, father. It is not much. As long as it is not too much of a request, I can do that."

Instead of my father saying that, I can see my mother looking at me with a serious expression.
"No, Gwyn. You cannot just accept his request. Grandmaster title is something that makes you the same level as Duke or at least Marquess. He cannot ask you to do anything he wants you to do. If you keep accepting his order, you will be looked down upon by the other nobles. My father nods his head in agreement and says.

"I want you to stop accepting a trivial request from the king from now on. You can accept his call when it involves a guest from another kingdom but don’t accept more requests from the king when you are there. The king needs to send a formal request through me or directly to you."
I can only sigh and say.
"I understand, father. I will not do that."
"That is good, son. I know that this sounds like I am ordering you around, but it is because I don’t want you to be used by the people in the North. You are still young and do not know how to read people’s expressions and behavior. You do not know if they are telling the truth or only want to use you to complete their own agenda."
"You are right, father. I will be careful next time."
My father nods, takes a sip of his tea, and says.
"Now, tell me about our guest."
"Right. Her name is Ashryn Erharice Ozawen, the princess of the Ozawen Kingdom. She wants to create an alliance with our kingdom, but she needs to wait, and the king tells her she can explore the kingdom as much as she wants."
"And she chose our territory."
"That is right, yes."
"I see. Continue."

My father nods his head and says.

"I am not. You might not see them but your mother and I notice them."
I look at my mother and see her nodding her head in agreement. I can only sigh and say.
"Right. Anyway, Ash wants to stay in the village until the king is ready to grant her another meeting once again."
"Ash, huh?"
I can only sigh when I hear my mother’s tone.
"We are only friends, mom."
"Fufufufu~ Of course, friend. I got it."
I have a feeling that you don’t, Mom. Urgh. I decided to let her have her fantasy and continue.
"Right! Ash wants to stay in the village for the considerable future and learn from the elves in our territory. I am thinking of letting the elves be their bodyguard as they are rather strong people, after all."

"That is a good idea." My father nods his head in agreement. "I think I can ask Hur-Tar to come back home and watch over them."

Fenrir and Okami are the official names of a squad of the Cunningham Family. Fenrir will be the close combat specialist, while Okami will be the magic specialist who leans over to healing rather than damaging magic.

"Of course, son. You can leave. I hear your wife is missing you."
I nod, get up from my seat, and leave the room.
However, as I leave the room, I can see Silva jump at me and throw her body at me.
