Xie Xuanchen had led his men northbound to drive the invaders all the way out and fought hard to reclaim the lost soil. The rebellion was strenuous and Xie Xuanchen took advantage of this energy to capture Xinzhou in one fell swoop. So far, 9 states among the Sixteen Prefectures have fallen into their hands. As long as they could recover Yunzhou and Shuozhou in the west, the Sixteen Prefectures would return to them once again.
Everyone participating in the siege was very elated about Xinzhou’s reclamation. Although they were still brandished under the name of the anti-troops, they were working hard by their own wills. Impressed with Xie Xuanchen’s tactics to deal with the Beirong army and his successful sieges, the troops were all willingly going to the ends of the world to do as he ordered.
They agreed, after all, that it wasn’t worth going to this length for the cowardly royal court in the far off distance.

There was a dance going on and the leading female dancer was graceful and dainty. A lot of men had their eyes on her as soon as she appeared.

Everyone knew better than to continue, so they consciously trashed the idea of getting her attention.
