Isekai Adventure in the Dimensional Cube Chapter 621

This kind of thing, Altoria couldn’t possibly not understand.

To many, she seemed just like an unsophisticated country fairy, but in reality, she was more clever than most, and such consequences were not beyond her conjecture.

Yet, she still chose to do it.

She simply couldn’t bear to witness, the only sun she had ever known in this world silently falling.

Even growing up in a place as malicious and abusive as Tintagel, this fairy girl couldn’t help but rush to stop the villagers, who wanted her dead, from killing each other in a raging fire, let alone seeing Reiger being captured because of the Pilgrimage Bell she rang.

From the moment Altoria knew Reiger was confined in Camelot, there was no second option in her heart other than coming to rescue him.

The fairy girl revealed a simple smile, speaking as if she had done a trivial thing.

"Don’t be fooled by my appearance, I’m actually quite skilled at sneaking in, you know?"

That was indeed true.

In such informal magic, Altoria had indeed spent a lot of effort learning.

Whether it was picking locks or sneaking in, or even blasting, this country-bred fairy girl was extremely adept at all.

Otherwise, during her time in the palace, Morgan would not have been the only one to have noticed her presence.

"Besides, I’m not alone," Altoria said to Reiger, "I’ve told you before, right? I have helpers!"

Hearing this, Reiger squinted his eyes.

"Speaking of which, who helped you sneak into the palace and plant the bombs?" Reiger asked, "His (her) identity must be quite significant, right?"

If it weren’t for someone who could move freely within the palace, how could they have easily assisted Altoria in sneaking in and secretly planting so many bombs?

Even the hall where Morgan’s most valued throne was located had bombs installed, which suggests that the person must hold a very important position in Fairy Country Britannia, otherwise it couldn’t have been done.

This meant, the person who helped Altoria was not only significant but held a respectable position in Fairy Country.

Reiger probably had some guesses about who it was.

After all, his understanding of the world wasn’t for naught; he had clearly seen who had taken Altoria out of the disastrous battlefield when he and Gawain were fiercely fighting.

And that person had been profoundly respectful to a clan leader of a fairy family in private.

Altoria told Reiger this without any concealment.

"The person who helped me is the clan leader of the Wind Tribe, Aurora."

This name, this identity, completely matched the guesses in Reiger’s mind.

"Let’s go meet her," Altoria proposed, "Aurora told me she wants to talk with you."

The Grand Cathedral, Salisbury.

This city, considered the freest city in Britannia, had yet to return to its former state.

Due to the earth-shattering battle a month ago, it had once turned into a sea of flames, and even the city walls had collapsed in places. Although it wasn’t reduced to ruins, it nearly lost the conditions necessary to function as a city and urgently needed repairs.

A month had passed, and the repair work here hadn’t finished, even though Salisbury had sought help from the Earth Tribe of Norwich, which had sent a group of Elf Craftsmen specialized in stonework to assist; still, repairing a semi-destroyed metropolis would take a significant amount of time.

Thanks to this, one could still see people engaged in civil engineering everywhere in Salisbury, and some were slowly repairing the walls, making the entire Salisbury look like it was being refurbished, with shouts and panting heard everywhere.

The only iconic structure in Salisbury that remained relatively intact was the Grand Cathedral of Ash.

Because this was where the lord resided and was a building of great symbolic significance in Fairy Country Britannia, it was mandated that repairs had to start here with utmost speed. Thus, the Grand Cathedral of Ash had been restored before other places, even the bell tower shattered by Lancelot had been repaired, allowing the human guards to stand watch here as usual, with utmost dedication.

Suddenly, at the top level of the Grand Cathedral’s bell tower, the space slightly trembled.

A black spot appeared there, gradually expanding and darkening the space.

Before long, a semicircular gate of darkness appeared, allowing Reiger and Altoria to step out from it.

Reiger said indifferently, causing Altoria to feel extremely complex.

"... once again you do something that makes me doubt if there’s something wrong with the magic I learned."

Altoria said dejectedly.

"What’s this?" Reiger asked nonchalantly, "Can’t Morgan and Tristan do the same thing?"

So I often doubt whether I am indeed a proper magician or why do I feel so out of place?

Altoria muttered to herself as she walked out of the bell tower, heading toward the lord’s quarters, dejected.

"Are you sure the clan leader of the Wind Tribe has returned?"

Reiger followed Altoria and asked this.

"Not sure," Altoria replied with a deadpan expression, "But the Wind Tribe is always fast on their feet. If Aurora has left Camelot, she should be back soon, or almost."

Reiger nodded and fell silent.

Clan Leader of the Wind Tribe, Aurora.

Since it has come to this, let me meet you.
