Xiao Hei got straight to the point, "We've checked your background and know about your criminal record. We're here to investigate a shooting. As long as you aren't the one who killed Garrett Swan, anything you confess won't be used as evidence against you.
As long as your charges are not severe, we can offer you an immunity agreement."
"It won't affect my bail?"
"What was your relationship with Garrett Swan?"

Xiao Hei said, "You're out doing this while on bail?"
"Where else would the bail money come from?"
