Just now, Qin Qin had asked them to wait for a while, saying that she would be back soon. When Zhang Yue and his group waited a bit and saw Qin Qin again, she was holding an obedient and adorable White Fox in her arms. The fox seemed to have a high level of intelligence, easily dodging the several police officers who tried to tease it as if it didn’t deign to pay them any attention.

"Good!" she praised Xiao Bai in a hushed voice. The fox, elated by its owner’s praise, spun in circles, visibly thrilled.
"The killer is inside," Qin Qin told Zhang Yue.
Zhang Yue glanced at the dilapidated courtyard, noticing a light within. His face grew stern, "Inside?"
"Qin Qin, thank you!" Zhang Yue expressed his gratitude, and Deng Zhi, along with the other officers, nodded appreciatively at Qin Qin.
Qin Qin shook her head, and then Zhang Yue and his team approached the courtyard quietly, as he arranged for the capture.
Mo Yunchen and Qin Qin watched from the side. Mo Yunchen held her hand the whole time, and she looked up at Yunchen.
When no one was paying attention to the two of them, Mo Yunchen leaned down and gently bit Qin Qin’s tender lips, "Stay out of these matters in the future."
To Mo Yunchen, Qin Qin was the most important. He didn’t wish for her to get involved in these things.
"Yes, but I am a doctor. If I can save someone, I will," she replied.
She was a doctor, possessed with a benevolent heart.
"Such a person deserves to die. I can’t stand to see him hurt others anymore."

Qin Qin looked up toward Mo Yunchen, silhouetted in the darkness. Even in the dark, she could clearly see the contours of his face and the fleeting shadows of concern in his eyes. He was afraid; afraid that she would put herself in danger.
"Understood," she acknowledged.
No sooner had Qin Qin spoken than the courtyard erupted with noisy voices, the sound of things breaking, and Zhang Yue’s angry shout, "You’ve killed so many people; you better surrender peacefully."
"Haha, they deserved to die, all of them," a man’s crazed voice rang out. The courtyard gate swung open, and Qin Qin and Mo Yunchen could see a figure with his back to them, holding Deng Zhi hostage with a knife to her throat.
The man disdainfully glanced at the police officers before him. Pressing the knife tighter against Deng Zhi’s throat, he demanded, "Put down your guns, prepare a million for me, and a car, or else I’ll kill her."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Yue hesitated. Seeing his hesitation, the kidnapper scraped the knife across Deng Zhi’s neck, drawing a not-too-deep cut from which blood began to flow, causing a change in the officers’ expressions.
They hadn’t expected that the man had set traps all around the courtyard; indeed, he was a man with strong vigilance. It was because of these traps that, alert to their approach, he was able to capture Deng Zhi.
The man, with his back to Mo Yunchen and Qin Qin, only faced the police officers and did not notice the three behind him.
