“The good thing is that the curse word suffix appeared,” the Black Butler said. “Otherwise, we wouldn’t know how to end it.”
“It’s just a delay,” the White Queen said. “We have to face the problem eventually.”
The moment the information about the curse word suffix flowed into her mind, Diya found herself transported to a strange room.
Compared to the Sword Maiden and Ash, she was the most grateful for the curse word suffix.
Because she was not at all mentally prepared.
She really thought the status “less than lovers” could continue indefinitely and felt that was quite fine. Although she liked Ash, she didn’t dislike the Sword Maiden, especially since Diya had so few friends.

Being with Ash was enough, and everyone being happy was enough.
However, it seemed that apart from her, the others were in agony. If she had somewhat anticipated the Sword Maiden’s pain, Ash’s guilt was beyond her comprehension.
“I thought he would be happy…” Diya murmured, “after all, both of us super cute girls liked him.”
“He was happy at first, but then he started to feel bad,” the White Queen said.
“Why? We weren’t even fighting,” Diya said.
“Because he felt your sadness,” the Red Death Cultist said.
“Am I sad?” Diya asked.
“You and the Sword Maiden are both good at hiding your feelings,” the Black Butler said. “She pretends she can tolerate it, deceiving others; you pretend you don’t care, deceiving yourself.”
“You like to act spoiled because you realize you are favored; and you act sensible because you’re afraid of being abandoned.”
“Even if there’s no warmth, no scent, the contact of heart to heart is the hardest to hide,” the White Queen said. “I have noticed several times that when Ash touches the Sword Maiden, he’s consciously observing your emotions.”
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner? I actually… actually care a little, but it’s not unbearable,” Diya said.
“It’s impossible,” the White Queen stated decisively. “Love by nature involves giving, possession, sensitivity, and irrationality; its effects are clinginess, jealousy, suspicion, and nonsense. “That can’t be so certain…” Diya said weakly.
“Moreover, Ash, like the Magic Princess, finds happiness in others’ happiness and sorrow in others’ sorrow…” the Black Butler continued. “The more you sacrifice for him, the sadder and guiltier he feels. If the Sword Maiden seeks to gain more by ending this ambiguous game, he only hopes you suffer less by stopping this emotional torment.”
“Unfortunately, because of his psychological issues, he can’t bring himself to be harsh to those who love him, which is why the situation has developed to this point.”
“If he could be harsh, then from the beginning we wouldn’t have stood a chance. Even if we were more outstanding, more beautiful, more powerful than the Sword Maiden, but the order of arriving in someone’s life is a rule of emotions.”

If Ash didn’t have this issue, Diya could never have broken the limits among comrades to occupy a place in his heart, forcing Ash to care about her feelings; but because he has this problem, he can only hand over the dagger to them, unable to make his own choices.

“No,” Diya shook her head, “no matter what you become, I will continue to like you as always.”

“Even if it’s this version of you,” Diya said softly, “even if there are others you like, it’s fine as long as I can always be with you.”
