As Lu Wanwan’s vision blackened, she accurately knocked her forehead against the edge of the coffee table and heavily fell to the ground, dizzy and disoriented.

Gu Annan, burning with rage, strode over and forcefully picked her up from the ground.
With a dark face, he sat on the sofa and harshly pinched her small face, anxiously checking the injured spot.
There was no broken skin, but a large swelling was likely to form soon.
“It hurts so much…” Lu Wanwan finally spoke after catching her breath.
“You know what pain feels like?” he glared at her fiercely. Had this woman recently been resorting to self-harm just to grab his attention?
Yesterday, she cut her ankle, and now with those injuries yet to heal, she had hit her head .
“It really hurts.” Her eyes brimming with tears, the tears constantly falling.
At the moment of impact, she was just a bit dazed, but the pain intensified as time passed.
Unconsciously, she clenched Gu Annan’s shirt tightly.
Gu Annan looked down at the small hand grabbing his waist, his brows furrowing even tighter.
“Stop crying!” he ordered in a low voice.
Lu Wanwan sobbed a few times, noticing his stern, frightening face.
She held back, but the tears still uncontrollably swirled in her eyes.
The rage in Gu Annan’s heart seemed to be extinguished in an instant, unsettled by her fearful, tearful demeanor.
When his gaze fell upon the increasingly larger swelling, he abruptly stood up, carrying her quickly towards the door.
“Whimper… Are you even human?” As Lu Wanwan’s tears finally fell, she cried out in pain, “I am injured , and you still want to throw me out! Aren’t you afraid that people will accuse you of domestic violence?”
Hearing her tearful accusation, Gu Annan’s lips twitched.
Ignoring her, he continued walking out with a stern face.
“All my things are still in your room, and besides, the room I booked was only for one night, I now have nowhere to stay.”
As she spoke, she clung tightly to him, her forehead throbbing painfully, feeling more aggrieved.
“It’s not that I wanted to stay here just now; you asked me to leave but didn’t return my luggage to me! My luggage is in your room, and you locked the door; can I break in?”

“I need a car,” Gu Annan said as he held her, approaching the hotel reception.
The receptionist immediately nodded and bowed, then instructed someone to handle it, asking him to wait a moment.
Lu Wanwan only heard their conversation in Japanese and had no idea what they were saying.
Had they rebooked a room for her?
As she bit her lip, feeling her vision blur even more with tears.
“The car is at the door, sir.”
Without hesitation, Gu Annan carried her out.
The doorman opened the rear door of the car.
The driver was Japanese, and Gu Annan spoke in the same unintelligible Japanese to Lu Wanwan.
Watching the car speed away, she held back for a long time, then slowly turned to his cold face and began, her voice weakening, “Gu Annan… are you taking me to the airport to send me back to the country immediately?”
