Wen Qiao hesitated for a moment, "But Gu said..."
"It’s okay, he won’t say anything. You feel like calling him by that title makes you and Brother Shaoyang seem too intimate, right?"

Ji Shaoyang glanced at Wen Qiao and smiled, "How come Annan isn’t looking after you?"
"I’m just wandering around."
"Wanwan, do you feel like you’ve turned the tables?" Ji Shaoyang teased, "You must have been tormented pretty badly at the beginning."
Gu Annan’s personality was such that, even having known him for many years, Ji Shaoyang couldn’t fathom it, not knowing what he initially thought about Lu Wanwan’s unexpected arrival.
From his understanding of Gu Annan, the fact that he didn’t firmly ignore her and allowed her to stick around and cause trouble, was already a miracle.

Lu Wanwan internally retorted, someone had clearly told her she was dumb.

Wen Qiao shook her head and then looked towards Lu Wanwan.
"You guys go ahead, I’ll join you later," Ji Shaoyang said without insisting, pointing in a direction.
After Ji Shaoyang left, Wen Qiao’s face scrunched up.
Lu Wanwan had noticed that she seemed a bit off earlier, "Are you not feeling well?"
Wen Qiao was a bit embarrassed, coming over to whisper, "I think my period just started, what should I do?"
"Your period?" She looked at Wen Qiao’s light-colored formal dress, that was problematic.
"Just now," Wen Qiao’s face reddened, "Ji was there, I was too embarrassed to say anything."
"Come with me, let’s go to the restroom first."
The two hurried to the restroom, where she asked Wen Qiao to wait while she looked for a staff member.
After hearing the situation, the staff member promised to immediately go out and buy sanitary pads, and she waited near the restroom.
The restroom was at the back of the lobby, very quiet.
