She watched the man before her from the side, his brows and eyes clearly expressing laughter, and his handsome face softened by its gentle lines.
That’s what Titus Zane thought, but she was unimpressed.
The corners of her lips slightly curved, her slightly raised eyebrows looked somewhat arrogant.
Trading her charm for a strand of hair or whatever, that’s just not worth it. She could get it on her own, it would just take a bit more time.
After all, people can be careless at times, and she had a private detective helping her.
"Really don’t want it?" Nathan Moore now held a long hair in his hand that wasn’t there before.
He lifted it towards her, his handsome brows mischievously raised.
Of course, she wanted that strand of hair, but if it truly came at a cost, she’d rather find another way.
"Don’t want it." She said decisively.
Having said that, Titus Zane pushed against Nathan Moore’s sturdy chest to get up, barely standing when her wrist tightened and she was pulled back into his embrace.
"What you say doesn’t count!" The few words came out through gritted teeth, his clearly-defined fingers clenching Titus Zane’s chin, forcing her to look him in the eyes.
"It’s my business to agree to help you get it; whether you want it or not, that’s for you to decide," sighed Titus Zane helplessly, just as she was about to speak, she heard Nathan Moore say, "However, this equivalent exchange, you must make."
"Nathan Moore, can you talk some sense!"
The man in front of her was clearly being unreasonable.
He volunteered to help her get it, but as for selling herself, she didn’t believe it.
Was he going to stand naked in front of his mother to seduce her?
The thought was absurd.
"It’s because I’m talking sense that I’m negotiating with you," Nathan Moore said confidently, and Titus Zane felt her head swim with dizziness and ache.
"Sorry, I don’t accept an exchange of equivalent value."
Titus Zane flatly refused, but would Nathan Moore comply with her wishes?
One hand clamped on Titus Zane’s chin, he pressed his handsome face down, while his other arm tightly encircled her waist, crushing her tightly against himself.
The kiss, domineering and forceful, carried restrained anger and punishment.
This woman, to think she’d dare to team up with that foreign devil to deceive him!
After three years away, it seemed she had forgotten her fear of him.
Look at her now, her brows and eyes smiling coyly non-stop, engaging with any man in the same manner, just like a seasoned lover, it’s enough to infuriate him – he’ll see how he will deal with her, to teach her a lesson, and see if she dares to flirt with other men in the future!
