Shaking his head with a self-mocking smile, Felix thought it was a bad habit developed over the years that led him to reach out subconsciously in his daze, grabbing her.
With a sigh, Felix laid back on the large bed. He wasn’t a man of steadfast affection, yet ever since he had met Elizabeth White, he seemed to have developed an immunity to all other women.
So even with the morning arousal, he felt no desire for Mia Foster.

Fleeing into the bathroom and closing the door, Mia Foster came to the mirror with her face burning hot. The reflection showed her ears reddened, her cheeks blushing as if she was painted with shades of dawn. She lightly patted her face, breathed out, and placed a hand over the spot where her heartbeat raced, feeling the continued chaos within.
It seemed as if the current was still there, spreading from that point throughout the organs of her body, making her restless with desire. Apparently, only a man’s touch could elicit such feelings.

Felix exhaled smoke, "That’s fine." As Mia Foster smiled at him and pulled open the door, he said, "Let’s get in touch when there’s time."
"Sure," Mia Foster replied with a smile, stepping out the room and suddenly letting out a deep sigh of relief.
